Well, for a change. At agree ka, yes, na ka-nostalgic nostalgic ang panahon.

I remember having asked Mother Lily (Monteverde), one of  our most truly progressive film and TV producers, once how it is to be (not feel, ha) rich.

After all, she was born rich as well, we all know. She belongs to the Yu family of Bicol, and her father, in his time, was known as the Copra King of Bicol.

Monteverde is her husband’s, Remy, family name.

Father, in his time naman, was a top cager. He studies sa San Beda College.

Do you know that it was Mother Lily who gave me my first car?

Nakalimutan ko na kung brand new, or whatever, ang car.

Basta, at that time, talent manager na ako ni Aga Muhlach. And each time we had to meet, sa Bistro Lorenzo sa Greenhills (nandun pa kaya ito hanggang ngayon?) kami nagkikita.

And each time, matapos kaming mag-meeting, sasabihin ni Aga, pahatid ako, ha.

Wala pa siyang kotse noon.

How time flies, Salve A. And how quickly life changes. For, at least, sa atin.

Now to the question na tinanong ko kay Mother Lily, hindi ko matiyak kung sinagot niya ito o hindi.

In any case, ang mahalaga, naging mabait at generous siyang boss sa akin.

Pinsan ni Daniel, may pangako sa pagpasok ng showbiz

Now The Squad Plus talent Analain Salvador made the supreme promise she will finish school, no matter what.

She is a cousin of DJ (Daniel Padilla) and, thus, Karla Estrada is her auntie.

Nasa high school pa lamang si Analain. At pangarap talaga raw niyang mag-artista.

Kabilang si Analain sa bagong members ng Kapamilya Networks’s The Squad Plus, consisting, too, of Nio Tria, Alyanna Angeles at younger brother ni Analain, si Ashton.

The original Squad Plus members are Andrea Brillantes, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz at Kyle Echarri.

All four of them are in the cast of the running series Huwag Kang Mangamba.

Sue, sobrang suwerte

One lucky actress na maituturing si Sue Ramirez, as she is currently co-starring with Pokwang and Ryan Bang in the Mother’s day presentation ng Regal Entertainment, Mommy Issues.

Directed by Joey Javier Reyes, featured si former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz as Pokwang’s mother.

Kay Sue rin ipinagkatiwala ng ABS-CBN Entertainment ang role bilang co-star nina Jodi Sta. Maria, Zanjoe Marudo at Zaijian Jaranilla sa Pinoy remake ng BBC Global drama, Doctor Foster.

To adapt the Tagalog title The Broken Marriage Vow, sa magaling na director na si Connie Macatuno ipinagkatiwala ang pamamahala ng series.

Where Sue’s lovelife is  concerned, so far, to the max daw ang pagiging ideal ng kanyang relasyon kay Javi Benitez, son of billionaire Albee Benitez, likewise the owner of Brightlight Productions.
