Heart, may trauma sa isang ex

Nagkaroon pala ng trauma si Heart Evangelista sa kanyang ex-boyfriend na hindi naging maganda ang trato sa kanya. Non-showbiz ang guy at hindi raw niya talaga ito binabanggit in the past.

Pero sa kanyang latest YouTube vlog na may titulong Turning 36 Part 1: Top 10 Lessons I’ve Learned So Far ay ikinuwento ni Heart ang ex-bf niyang ito na hindi na niya sinabi kung sino.

Isa sa sampung lessons na natutunan daw niya ay “be with someone who doesn’t hold you back or allows you to grow.”

Simula niya, hindi raw true ang tsika na marami siyang naging boyfriends.

“Hindi ganu’n kadami ang boyfriend ko but I did date a lot of guys, and I’m fine, I’m glad I did. I’ve met so many people,” aniya.

At dito na niya ikinuwento ang non-showbiz ex-bf. “I had a boyfriend that was so bad to me. He wasn’t in showbiz. I hardly talked about him or spoke about him. Sad to say, he was actually just a rebound (sabay-tawa). But I really wanted it to work because I wanted to get over someone. But he was really cruel,” kuwento ni Heart.

“I remember for how many years after, I couldn’t go to a certain area in Manila, because I was so traumatized,” patuloy niya. “He was controlling. My mom was in charge of my money then but he would tell me that, ‘you know, if we do end up together, you can’t touch your money until you die, only your kids can,’ ganyan-ganyan, ‘you have to live a simple life,’ blah blah blah,” tsika pa niya.

Bukod dito ay ayaw din daw siyang pagtrabahuhin at pati ang mga suot niya ay pinapakialaman. “It was such a turn-off. You have to be with somebody who will allow you to experiment. It’s about getting to know yourself even more. You know, even if I’m 36, I’m still getting to know myself, I’m still discovering so many things about myself and you have to be with somebody who’s on the same page. Or else, so you’re stuck, you’re not going to grow. I really believe in we are equals,” she said.

Sa kaso raw nila ng asawang si Sorsogon Governor Chiz Escudero, syempre ay inirerespeto raw niya ang mga desisyon nito at ina-acknowldge niyang ito ang man of the house. “But he allows me to say what I want, he allows me to wear what I want, he allows me to work, and he inspires me to do that. And because he’s like that to me, I’m a happy person. Happy wife, happy life,” ani Heart.

Payo niya sa fans niya and female singles out there na bago mag-settle or magpakasal ay kilalanin muna ang mapapangasawa at huwag magmadali. “Because at the end of the day, you got to end up with somebody that’s not going to control you, that is going to make you bloom as a person, and that’s just wonderful to share a life with someone like that,” she said.
