Boy Abunda, magkakaroon ng grand comeback sa TV

Sa totoo lang, Salve A., miss naming mapanood, yes, sa ‘normal’ TV, si Boy Abunda bilang host.

For us, he is really the ‘king of talk.’ We were a fan of his last two talk programs, Tonight With Boy Abunda (TWBA), aired weeknights, and Bottomline, isinahimpapawid naman tuwing late night, Sabado.

While in TWBA, the topics discussed are about favorite movies, shows and celebrities, Bottomline naman is a Philippine current affairs-talk-reality show.

Kaya, Boy, how about a ‘comeback,’ kumbaga?

Actually talks have it that Boy, anytime this year, 2021, will return to full-time work. Obviously on TV.

Boy, as we all know, is also a publicist, a college professor, talent manager and celebrity endorser.

Sunshine, certified director na

Not many obviously remember that Sunshine Dizon started as a child actress and eventually ‘graduated’ as an actress of note.

She retired from showbiz, though, nang mag-asawa siya kay Timothy Tan, non-showbiz, in 2010.

For a time, naging full-time housewife lang si Sunshine and mother to her two kids, Anton and Doreen.

Then came the report na hiwalay na silang mag-asawa.

Napanood siyang muli sa TV, the most current of which is Magkaagaw, featuring, too, former fellow child star Sheryl Cruz.

In a recent interview kay Sunshine, pahapyaw niyang binabanggit ang wish niya na magtrabaho behind the showbiz cameras.

Na obviously natupad na, dahil co-director siya ni Mark Reyes sa bagong TV series, B&B: The Story Of The Battle Between Brody And Brandy, topbilled by Ian Veneracion at Iza Calzado.

Also in the cast are Ketchup Eusebio, Ian Ignacio and Lovely Abella.

Iza, pinagpapahinga para magkaanak 

Now 38 years old, friends and fans wonder kung wala raw bang balak “magpahinga” muna si Iza (Calzado), nang matupad na ang pangarap nila ng asawang si Ben Wintle na magkaanak.

They were married in 2018.

Dalawa lang silang magkapatid.

Dash, her brother, is a rapper, kaya, mahusay ding mag-rap si Iza.

The siblings did a rap number when they guested in Magandang Buhay recently.

Dad nga pala nila ang dating choreographer dancer na si Lito Calzado.

Janno, hindi nagmana sa amAng si Ronaldo

Parang hindi namana ni Janno Gibbs ang pagiging gentleman to the max ng kanyang actor-dad na si Ronaldo Valdez (real name: Ronald Gibbs).

Heto at balitang kaya sila parehong nawala as host ni Kitkat sa noontime show na Happy Time, na napapanood sa Net25, dahil openly nagbabangayan diumano sila.

Janno is now 51 years old. Parehong professional na ang dalawang anak nilang babae ng asawang si Bing Loyzaga, sina Alyanna at Gabby.
