Baron ipinagtanggol si Liza

Nagpasalamat si Liza Soberano kay Baron Geisler na dumepensa sa kanya dahil sa statement na inilabas tungkol sa poster ng pelikulang Tililing. Hindi nagustuhan ni Liza ang poster base sa komento niyang lumabas sa social media. Bahagi ng tweet ni Liza, “…But the poster? It’s a no for me. Mental health is NOT a joke. Stop the stigma.”

Nakiusap si Baron sa netizens na huwag i-bash si Liza sa komento niya. Bagay na ikinagalak ng young actress. “Thank you kuya Baron for the kind words and sorry if I offended anyone. I’m afraid my intentions were misinterpreted. I always want the best for films that tap into mental health, so I wish the film all the best.

“Looking forward to seeing it,” tweet ni Liza.

But wait. May isang support group na gumawa ng mock up poster ng kontrobersiyal na movie ayon sa isang report online. Ito ay ang Anxiety and Depression Support Philippines na naghayag na, “The poster stereotypes people with mental health issues.”

Poster pa lang, may issue na. Paano pa kaya kapag ipinalabas na ang movie? That’s another story, huh!
