“So I saw the jacket, I loved it, I walked in and everyone took care of me right away. So, they gave me food, gave me sandwiches. And it so happened na may iba akong fans na pumunta doon sa store na ‘yon. So, I was there and I had about, you know, six of my tagahangas with me at the store.

“They (the staff) said that jacket, the last piece, was bought by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas. So, I was asking for one size. So, they had one jacket sent over from a different department store.

”When it finally got there, na-realize ko na I never looked at the price. So, could you imagine? So finally when I looked at the price, parang sinundo ako bigla ng mga ninuno ko. Parang I thought oras ko na!

“I heard singing, I saw a bright light. It turns out it was six figures!” tawa pa niya.

“I was planning on leaving. I was planning on, you know, just sneaking out of the store. Tsaka all my fans were there. So, nakakahiya kung iniwan ko sila bigla.

“I ended up buying that jacket. Used it twice or thrice. It’s a nice jacket, but up to now, pinagsisisihan ko pa rin ‘yan!” tawa pa niya ulit.

“This book aims to give dignity to the yayas out there who selflessly dedicate their lives caring for their ‘alagas’ / other children and also remind parents that yayas need some love and care as well,” post ni Belle sa Instagram.

“I didn’t know that — I don’t think anyone wanted to tell me. But I had moved houses in LA and then when we moved, it somehow just magically kind of disappeared. It could be somewhere, but everyone’s searched for it high and low.

“I hope it’s in good hands wherever it is. We haven’t seen it for quite some time. It’s not something someone accidentally throws in the trash. I hope someone is taking care of it.”
