Marian, sasabak sa teatro!
Nakita namin sa Instagram ng writer/director na si Katski Flores ang pagwe-welcome kay Marian Rivera bilang kasama sa cast ng Oedipus Rex ng Tanghalang Ateneo. Pinost din ni Katski ang Zoom meeting nila ng iba pang bumubuo ng cast at production team na rin at kasama si Marian.
Post ni direk Katski: “The full cast of Tanghalang Ateneo’s Oedipus Rex, a timely adaptation during a time of adaptation.
“So excited to be acting alongside these TA alums, with whom I’ve shared incredible, indelible memories on and off-stage, during some of the most formative years of my life.

Sumagot si Marian ng “Maraming salamat” na sinagot ni Katski ng “maraming salamat sa pagtanggap.”
First theater project ito ni Marian na mapapanood sa Zoom. Wala pang ibang details, gaya ng ano ang role ng Kapuso aktres at kung kailan ang staging nito.
Speaking of Marian, balik-taping na siya sa Tadhana at ang asawang si Dingdong Dantes muna ang kanyang director. Nagpasalamat si Marian sa production team sa pagpayag na sa bahay nila siya mag-taping ng kanyang spiel dahil takot pa rin siyang lumabas ng bahay bilang pag-iingat na makaiwas sa virus ng Covid-19.
Rocco, honorary member na rin ng NAVSOG
Kabilang ang mga kasama sa cast ng Descendants of the Sun sa nag-congratulate kay Rocco Nacino sa Tiger BDU award at honorary member na siyang elite NAVSOG (Naval Special Operations Group). Nabasa namin ang pagko-congratulate nina Dingdong Dantes, Lucho Ayala, Jon Lucas, at Andre Paras.
“Accolade unlocked! Today as I was awarded the Tiger BDU as an honorary member of NAVSOG. I asked myself how I got to this point in life.
“I admit to having selfish goal when all of this started (Gusto ko maging ganito, kailangan maging ganito ako...etc), but it dawned upon me that I was doing this to be an example to the young ones that anything can be achieved as long as you put your heart into it.
“Akala ko tapos na ang paghihirap ko nung sumabak kami ng Alpha Team sa training ng Special Forces para sa #DescendantsofTheSun, yun pala mararanasan ko ulit yung hirap sa aming culminating activities para mainduct sa coursen ng NAVSOG. Hindi biro, pwede sulit ang hirap at ang mga aral na naidulot ko dito. At natawa ako nung biruin ako na naging totoo na ang suot ni Wolf, hindi na isang costume.

Tony sinagot ang mga akusasyong bakla siya
Sinagot ni Tony Labrusca ang gay rumors sa kanyang YouTube channel at nilinaw ang maling assumptions sa kanya at nagbasa rin ng comments mula sa netizens.
Binanggit ni Tony na frustrated siya sa gay rumors dahil mas pinag-uusapan daw ng tao kung gay siya kesa capabilities niya bilang actor. Ang feeling nito, naiitsa pwera ang hard work na ginagawa niya para mapansin ang acting talent niya.
“I don’t identify myself as homosexual. But I don’t think that matters anymore. Even if I said I wasn’t gay, the people who think I am gay are going to keep on believing that I’m gay. There is nothing I can do that would change their mind because they think that I dated this person, or they think that I had sex with this person because this tabloid said that. So, that’s out of my control, you know what I mean?
“Let’s say, if I did say I was gay, some people still wouldn’t believe me, or some people would still hate me. They would say I’m doing it for attention, or they’ll say I’m queerbaiting. Or some people would be, like, ‘O sabi ko na nga ba, e.’ And then people would end up hating me.”
Tinapos ni Tony ang kanyang pahayag sa pagsasabing, “So my point is, whatever I say, whatever I do, whatever I identify as, it doesn’t matter. There are still gonna be people that hate me, because I’m me.”
Ayan, malinaw ang mga sinabi ni Tony at sana nga, tigilan na ang mga gay issue sa kanya.
