Alex mas madatung na kay Toni!?

Like her elder and only sibling, Toni Gonzaga, Alex is now an actress, too.

Alex plays leading lady to Xian Lim in Love The Way You Lie, co-starring, too, former Miss International Kylie Verzosa.

Siyempre kilala rin si Kylie bilang girlfriend ng aktor na si Jake Cuenca.

The Way You Lie is earmarked sana for release sa Metro Manila Summer  Filmfest, scheduled April 11 to 21.

But as well all know, kinailangang i-shelve ang film event dahil sa ‘ongoing’ much-dreaded COVID-19 virus.

Actually, Love The Way… is not first screen appearance, as she already co-starred with Toni in the 2018 movie, Mary Merry Me, directed by RC de los Reyes. The film was produced by Toni’s husband, director-producer Paul Soriano for his TENI7P Productions.

It’s TENI7P, too, who’s producing The Way You Lie, with RC de also Reyes again directing.

Between Alex and Toni, the former, no doubt, ang mas busy.

Andeng worried na sa COVID

Worried somehow si Antipolo Mayor Andeng Ynares, when report reached her that in one of the plush subdivisions of the city may na-diagnose na may coronavirus.

Mabuti naman at diumano’y nai-rush kaagad ito sa ospital. And was given the proper treatment.

Mayor Andeng is hoping the patient will be pronounced well in time.

She is asking for prayers sa mga nakabasa ng item na ito. As she said: “Prayers always work wonder.”

Amen. Mayor Andeng.

Sam tatlo agad ang leading lady

Equally lucky is Sam Milby, who was last seen in the top series, Halik, with Jericho Rosales, Romnick Sarmenta, Yam Concepcion at Yen Santos. He will play leading man to three of the top female talents ng local showbiz, sina Maricel Soriano, Iza Calzado at Jodi Sta. Maria.

Titled Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin, it will have FM Reyes at the helm.

Direk FM’s last directorial job was Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit, which introduced child actress Sophia Reola.

Direk FM, for those of you who doesn’t know, is the husband of actress Rita Avila.

Of Sam, he also plays leading man to Yassi Pressman in the soon-to-stream iWant, Tapes.

Yassi, of course, is the popular leading lady ni Coco Martin sa top action series, FPJ Ang Probinsyano.

Tapes marks Sam’s first attempt at a digital movie.

Personal: Bukas, Salve A., March 19, is the feast day of Saint Joseph, kinikilala ng simbahan as the ‘legal’ father ni Jesus.

He is considered the Patron Saint of the Universal Church, families, fathers and expectant mothers.
