Hindi pala request, much less, order from direk Chito Roño, which prompted Joshua Garcia to submit to an acting workshop for his role sa Ang Mga Kaibigan ni Mama Susan.

Kusang loob daw niya ito, anang actor, lalo na raw nang mabasa niya ang librong isinulat ni Bob Ong, na may ganito ring pamagat at kung saan ibabase ang film.

Mystery-horror-suspense din ang movie, and let’s not forget na kasu-showing lang ng horror-suspense movie rin na tinampukan nina Joshua with Julia Barretto, Block Z, directed by Mikhail Red.

Ang Mga Kaibigan… marks Joshua’s first time to work with direk Chito. It’s a production ng Regal Entertainment at Black Sheep, na siya ring nag-produce ng Block Z.

Wala pang ideya si Joshua kung sinu-sino pang artista ang kasama niya sa movie. And although he has, more or less, an idea na of the film’s kuwento, he’s not at liberty, he said, to discuss it yet.

But excited na raw siya to start shooting for the movie.

Samantala, nabili na pala ni Joshua ang townhouse na ipinangako niya sa kanyang ama.

Three storey, sa second floor daw, sila may tig-isang bedroom ng kanyang ama. Sa third floor preferred ng kanyang panganay na ate na tumira, which also serves as their entertainment area.

Although, nagkikita sila ng kanyang ina, he prefers not to talk much about her.

Sarah at Matteo gagawa ng pelikula

Totoo palang walang nakaalam sa kahit sinuman sa mga taga-Viva Entertainment & Films, including Boss Vic del Rosario sa plano nina Matteo Guidicelli at Sarah Geronimo na magpakasal nearly two weeks ago.

Asked in an interview, Vincent del Rosario, son of Boss Vic and himself a Viva Entertainment and film executive, if may immediate plan sila to do a movie, starring the newly-wed, Vincent said he and his father will soon discuss about it.

Then, that’s when they will bring the matter sa mag-asawa.

Advice namin kay Vincent and company: do the movie fast. At baka magbuntis na si Sarah.

Remember, she’s 31 na.

Pastor na nagkasal kina Sarah at Matteo, kapatid ni Princess Punzalan!

Now guess kung sino yung reported pastor na nag-solemnized ng kasal nina Matteo at Sarah?

Well, if Pastor Paolo’s family name sounds familiar, it is because, he is a younger brother of Princess Punzalan, herself an actress and former wife of now top TV host and producer, Willie Revillame.

Princess now lives in the US with her new husband.

She and Pastor Paolo are the children of two well-loved and respected radio/TV personalities, the late Helen Vela and Orly Punzalan.
