Martin sobrang seloso noon

Seloso pala si Martin Nievera noong mga panahong he and Pops Fernandez were together as husband and wife.

Pati damit na mga isinusuot ni Pops, Martin scrutinized to the max.

However, ‘di raw ito ang dahilan why they separated, 12 years after their much-publicized wedding. But then, they already have their two sons, Robin and Ram, na hangang-hanga si Martin sa ginawa nitong pagpapalaki.

The two daw are ideal boys.

Martin, as we all known, also has a son by ex-girlfriend, Katrina Ojeda, who, Pops treats like her own son, si Santino.

Santino was with them, together with Robin and Ram, when they – Martin and Pops went on a series of concerts in the U.S.

The reception to their concerts abroad ng mga kababayan natin na doon na naninirahan, inspired the two of them, Martin said, to mount a concert dito sa Pilipinas, aptly titled Two-Gether Again.

Hence the week-long concert – February 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 – ay gaganapin sa  The Theater at Solaire.

By the way, at the presscon for the concert, Martin and Pops were asked kung sino sa kanila ang mas richer.

Ang mabilis na sagot ni Martin: “Pops, of course, as she knows how to manage her finances.”

Asked if Pops will pay him sa darating na concert nilang dalawa, again, Martin mouthed, kumbaga: “Yes, naman. Pero, minimal lang.

“And I understand,” tukoy pa ni Martin.

Jodi producer na rin!

Wow, Salve A., let’s give Jodi Sta. Maria a big hand, as she is both the producer and lead actress of the new comedy series, My Single Lady, streaming on iWant, starting January 22.

And guess who are playing her leading men?

Ian Veneracion and Zanjoe Marudo, that’s who.

Directing My Single Lady is Carlo Catu, who, likewise wrote the story with Janina Gacosta.

Direk Carlos said he somehow based the story of My Single Lady sa kuwento ng kanyang kapatid, who, like Jodi, is a single Mom.

Playing the role of Jodi’s son is six year-old Iñigo Delen.

Excited daw si Jodi about the project, isa lang sa unang productions niya, with B617 and Dreamscape Digital.

The series daw will feature original Regine Velasquez songs. Regine will herself appear in the series.

Jodi confessed na isa siyang avid Regine Velasquez fan. Her character in My Single Lady is name Chona, which is Regine’s real name.

Others in the cast of My Single Lady, are Iyah Mina, Brenda Mage, Vitex Paguiringan at Carla Martinez.

Alice gusto pa ring magkaanak

Utmost wish pa rin pala ngayon ng katu-turn 50 years old na si Alice Dixson ang magkaanak.

She was married for about 10 years with fellow Filipino Ronnie Miranda, who is based in Canada. Kaya nga raw, for a time, naging Canadian citizen si Alice.

Ganunpaman, sa kung anumang kadahilanan, ‘di raw sila nagkaanak.

Back home, after her marriage to Ronnie was annulled, Alice concentrated on her showbiz career anew.

Currently, Alice is romantically involved with a foreigner, na mataas ang puwesto sa isang kilalang hotel, sa Boracay.

Ito raw ang dahilan kung bakit madalas nasa Boracay si Alice, even if she is busy with a new series sa Kapuso, Madrasta.
