Snooky

For a while pala, Salve A., Snooky Serna, now 53, suffered mental illness, so much so, she had to seek help from a psychiatrist.

And, pangalawa kay Niño Mendoza.

The two are set to star in the adaptation of the Wattpad novel, He’s Into Her, which is to stream in iWant.

As a child actress, madalas makapareha ni Belle si Zaijan Jaranilla.

Wala nga palang anak si Alice and her former husband.

Right now, busy si Alice with a new series of GMA. Her movie, Nuuk, with Aga Muhlach is still showing in theater nationwide.

Nuuk, directed by Veronica Velasco, was filmed in its entirely in Nuuk, which is the capital of Greenland.

Soon, what will keep daw Alice busy is her fundraising project, Alice Dixson Celebrity Bowl, na gaganapin sa SM Megamall on December 8.

Well, good luck, Alice.

Regine muntik ‘di matuloy sa Yours…

Regine Velasquez said she is happy, she has an entry, Yours Truly Shirley, in the ongoing Cinema One Originals.

At the opening of the event, held at the newly-opened Ayala Malls in The Manila Bay, Regine was escorted by husband Ogie Alcasid. They brought along with them Ogie’s daughter, Leila, na eager maging artista rin. Nakikilala na bilang singer itong si Leila.

In any case, ang iba pang entries ay Utopia, Tia Madre, Lucid, Sila Sila, O, at Tayo Muna Habang ‘Di Pa Tayo.

The festival will run until November 17. The awards night, though, will be held November 15 at Dolphy Theater located inside the ABS-CBN compound.

Ipinagmamalaki nga pala ni Ronald Arguelles, the festival director, that the yearly event, henceforth, will be under ABS CBN Films, led by Star Cinema managing director Olive Lamasan.

The yearly event is now on its 15th year.
