Sarah dog lover sa totoong buhay

Sarah dog lover sa totoong buhay
Sarah Geronimo

Remember the indie film, Bwakaw, which was released in 2012 and had the late Eddie Garcia play the role of a lonely gay man, na ang tanging kasama sa bahay at nagsisilbing libangan niya ay isang asong kanyang napulot at tinawag niyang Bwakaw.

Bwakaw was written and directed by Jun Lana, na siya ring direktor ngayon ng pelikulang Unforgettable ni Sarah Geronimo playing the lead, well, minus a leading man.

Ang kanyang ka-partner instead ay isang aso named Milo, but in the movie pinangalanan ito ng karakter ni Sarah bilang Jasmine na Happy.

Unforgettable was filmed almost in its entirety sa Baguio City. And on Jasmine and Happy’s trip patungong Pines City, maraming tao silang nakilala at nakausap.

Hence, the special appearance nina Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Anne Curtis, Cherie Gil, Tirso Cruz III, Yayo Aguila, Ara Mina, Meg Imperial at Gina Pareño.

“Swak na swak si Sarah sa kanyang role”, ani Perci Intalan, who co-direct Unforgettable with Jun Lana, his real-life partner and co-owner ng IdeaFirst Productions. “She happens to be a dog lover in real life. Just like me and direct Jun.”

Producing Unforgettable is Viva Films. The released date of the said movie is on October 23.

Kathryn at Daniel ‘di pinalampas ang Paris

Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla took a chance to also visit Paris on their home from Iceland, where they stayed for a few days and had the chance na ma-witness for themselves ang ipinagmamalaking spectacular Northern Lights ng lugar.

In Paris, they made sure to visit the famous Eiffel Tower and other tourist attractions of the city.

That they both had a wonderful time traveling together, well, just the two of them, Kathryn and Daniel need not articulate.

Back home, they both have no idea yet if they will be doing a project together.

Their last team-up was the box-office hit movie of 2018, The How’s of Us,  directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina.

This year, Kathryn’s first team-up with Kapuso talent Alden Richards, Hello, Love, Goodbye, again directed by direct Cathy and also produced by Star Cinema, made box office history anew when it grossed close to one billion, yes, one billion, during its nearly two months run in theaters nationwide.

RK mami-miss nang sobra si Sophia

Sobrang na-attached daw si RK Bagatsing sa batang aktres na si Sophia Reola so much so, a week before namaalam sa himpapawid ang Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit, where they play father and daughter.

The senior cast include Pilar Pilapil, Cristine Reyes, Dante Rivero, Enzo Pineda, Ces Quesada, Keempee de Leon at Matet de Leon.

From his fellow senior talents, marami daw natutuhan si RK. He looks forward na makatrabahong muli ang mga ito.

Kris reyna pa rin

From Kris Aquino, when we congratulated her for the Lifetime Achievement Award she received from the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Star Awards for TV, she sent a text message back informing us that she was in Singapore for her medical check up, the reason why she was not at the awards ceremony to receive the award herself.

She reportedly instead assigned her two sons, Joshua and Bimby, to receive the trophy for her.

Sayang nga talaga at ‘di na napapanood sa TV these days si Kris. As far as a number of televiewers are concerned, Kris remains the Queen of Talk (Show).

Well, she remains the female counterpart ni Boy Abunda, who, to date, remains the undisputed King of Talk (Show).
