Dingdong haharap sa matinding challenge sa Berlin
Tuloy na tuloy ang pagtakbo ni Dingdong Dantes sa Berlin Marathon and in fact, handang-handa na ang aktor. Ayon sa kanyang Instagram post ay nasa final days na nga siya ng kanyang training dahil sa Sept. 29 na gaganapin ang nasabing sport event sa Berlin, Germany.
Sa nasabing IG post ay ni-recall ni Dingdong kung paano nagsimula ang kanyang interes sa pagtakbo at ito ay noong yayain siya ni Kim Atienza na sumama sa run group 4 years ago.
“Four years ago, i had the privilege of chatting with @kuyakim_atienza at the lobby of Luneta Hotel in Manila. We were together to kick off a climate change event and to launch our youth-in-climate action campaign called #NowPH.
“In that short span of time, we were able to talk about our families— i was just newly married then and had Zia on the way— and his commitment to a better and more sustainable lifestyle. It was also on that same day that he invited me to join their run group, who meet every Tuesdays and Thursdays in Makati.
“Immediately, maybe after a week or two, I was introduced to the group who later on became some of my really good friends.
“And the rest, as they would say, is history,” ang parte ng post ni Dong.
Sa darating daw na Berlin Marathon ay haharap siya sa isang malaking challenge of running 42 kilometers na hindi raw niya na-imagine na gagawin niya.
“In exactly 13 days from now, i am about to conquer a very difficult task of running for 42 kilometers — something i had never imagined myself doing.
“And here i am, on my final days of training, committed to finish the BMW @berlinmarathon this September 29.
“Although i know that the road towards a ‘better and more sustainable lifestyle’ is never-ending and challenging, i’m happy and honored to be given a spot in the race through my @team_gotta teammate and good friend @gcremulla, with help of his wife Georgia, and to have had that conversation with Kuya Kim, who is now a Godparent to Sixto,” ang saad ni Dong sa kanyang post.
Sa comments section ay sumagot naman si Kuya Kim at aniya, “proud of you kumpare! you’ve gone a long way. I am humbled by the shootout bro.”
Alden nag-trending
Minsan pa ay pinatunayan ni Alden Richards ang lakas niya sa Twitter world dahil nag-trending worldwide ang pilot episode ng The Gift last Monday.
Nag-No.1 trending ang serye nationwide and No.5 naman worldwide with 700,000 tweets ayon mismo sa inilabas na data ng TwitterPh.
Hindi lang ang hashtag ang nag-trending kundi maging ang mga cast ng serye na sina TJ Trinidad at Jean Garcia na nagpaiyak agad sa mga manonood sa pilot episode.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng nakitweet sa amin, the best kayo sa suporta,” ang tweet ni Alden.
