Joey pinayuhan ang mga G actor para magtagal sa trabaho

Bukod pala sa bagong series na Pamilya Ko where he plays husband to Sylvia Sanchez, nasa cast din si Joey Marquez ng pelikulang G! na entry sa Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) 3 na idinirek ni Dondon Santos.

In G!, four young male talents are featured with Joey, and these are McCoy de Leon, Jameson Blake, Paulo Angeles at Mark Oblea.

Well, tulad daw ng young stars din na kasama niya sa Pamilya Ko, ayaw niyang mag-comment kung sinu-sino ang pinakamagaling.

“Basta ang pangaral ko lang sa kanila, maging professional sila, nang tumagal sila sa business na ito,” komento ni Joey.

Mga more or less, 30 years na in the business si Joey. He was a former basketball player, when the late top talent manager, Douglas Quijano, enticed him to try na mag-artista.

He could have been an actor earlier, kung ginusto niya. Father niya ang top movie producer noon na si Temyong Marquez.

Temyong owned Tower Productions, which earlier produced several of Nora Aunor’s movies.

Surprisingly though, according to Joey, he never had a movie co-starring him with Nora Aunor.

It was, too, Temyong who first helped Alma Moreno became a movie star. Well, later became the wife of Joey, with whom he has several children, one of them is beauty queen Winwyn Marquez.

Let’s not forget, too, that Joey was Parañaque Mayor for three terms.

Well, keep up the good work, Joey. Pinatutunayan mong age doesn’t matter for whatever profession you choose to embrace, basta magaling ka.

Perla gustong magka-apo sa tuhod

Aga doesn’t matter too for Perla Bautista, who, without blinking an eye, claims she is turning exactly 80 years old in February.

Perla is currently busy with two projects, ito ay ang Pamilya Ko at Los Bastardos.

In her younger years, she was under contract to LVN Pictures. She appeared in a number of films, playing leading lady to several top actors, including former President and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, with whom she was linked to.

Perla and Mayor Joseph’s first film together, Markang Rehas, gave her, her first acting award.

She remains happily married to someone not in showbiz. Her only child, Jude, has given her an apo. “Ang nilu-look forward ko ay ang maging great grand Lola, bago ako mag-80 years old,” pagtatapos niya.

Casts ng Hello, Love… tumanggap ng mga bonus

Lovely Abella, who auditioned for her role, after bigyan siya ng go-signal ng GMA-7, where she is contract talent, na puwede niyang gawin ang movie.

She has a new assignment sa Kapuso, a series, na ayon sa kanya, sobrang angat sa kanyang role. And naturally, she laughed, her talent fee.

Paulo busy sa pelikula kay Janine

Bukod sa The General’s Daughter, the series which topbills him with among others, Angel Locsin, Albert Martinez, Ryza Cenon, Janice de Belen, Eula Valdez, JC de Vera and Tirso Cruz III, busy din sa shooting ng kanyang bagong movie si Paulo Avelino, titled If We Don’t Make It.

Excited lalo siya that she will have Janine Gutierrez for his leading lady. Primo Cruz directs it.

Since, according to Paulo, Janine will be playing a music producer, it’s likely na magkakaroon ng magandang theme song ang pelikula.

Paulo confessed na may passion siya for music.
