Nadine lumaking walang masyadong kaibigan
Dumanas pala ng period of depression si Nadine Lustre during her growing up years. Blame it sa kanyang karanasan noong bata pa siya.
Home school trained pala si Nadine. Ito ‘yong tipo ng mga may kayang estudyante na sa halip na sa regular school nag-aaral, may assigned tutor na pumupunta sa kanilang bahay at doon sila tinuturuan ng mga aralin na siyang itinuturo din sa mga regular students.
“Ang pagkakaiba din, wala akong regular classmates. Kaya, wala rin akong matatawag o maituturing na friends sa mga supposed ka-edad ko at kaklase.
“Limited lang ang friends ko sa mga kasamahan ko sa noo’y pambatang programa ko sa RPN 9, which was still an active TV station,” kuwento ni Nadine.
Kaya malaking influence raw sa kanya ang boyfriend na si James Reid, who encouraged her na maging friendly at magkaroon ng tiwala sa sarili.
Ganunpaman, may mga pagkakataon pa rin na napi-feel niya na somehow depressed siya.
And somehow, alam niyang napi-feel ito ng mga taong kausap o nakakasalamuha niya, tukoy pa ni Nadine.
Well, no need to tell anyone, therefore, nang sa photo shoot ng winners sa katatapos na FAMAS (Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences), hindi siya nakasama.
She was proclaimed best actress for her performance in Never Not Love You.
No doubt, though, that her victory sa best actress sa FAMAS, plus another trophy for the same category and for the same movie, from The Young Critics Circle naman, will create fireworks sa kanyang acting skills.
And this will be proven sa kanyang bagong movie na ginagawa, Indak, with Sam Concepcion.
Both known for their dancing prowess, they will both prove that on the dance floor or wherever, they are the dancing pair to reckon with.
Indak, we heard, will be filmed mostly in Korea.
Of Sam, unlike Nadine, who is open sa kanyang relationship with James (Reid), tikom ang bibig nito about his current love life.
Although, open book din na after his break-up with Jasmine Curtis Smith, he was linked for a while kay Kiana Valenciano, only daughter of music icon na si Gary Valenciano and Angeli Pangilinan. These days quiet ang love life ni Sam.
Kung sabagay, ganundin si Kiana.
In the case of Jasmine, who is one of the stars of the currently showing ultra horror flick, Maledicto, may bago na siyang pag-ibig, si Jeff Ortega.
Maymay at Edward mas priority ang kanya-kanyang future
Maymay Entrata and Edward Barbers are happy that they are working together in the currently showing fantaserye, Hiwaga Ng Kambat, co-starring them, too, with Grae Fernandez at Chantal Videla.
More of a lead actor sa Hiwaga… si Edward, since nakasentro sa kanila si Grae ang kuwento ng kabuuan ng series. But as Maymay said, hindi issue sa kanya kung bida o support lang siya sa kahit anong project na kanyang ginagawa.
Ang importante, susog niya, may ginagawa siya and in each project she is assigned, may natututuhan siya bilang artista.
Maymay is also in the cast of the first movie together nina Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, Hello, Love, Goodbye, na ang kabuuan ay kinunan sa Hong Kong.
Which Maymay considers a bonus, since before her stint sa showbiz, she has never had the chance to travel outside the country.
Edward is a German-born British Filipino. His and Maymay’s paths crossed when they both became a part of the reality show, Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Season Seven, where he emerged fourth placer at si Maymay champ.
“Sa loob pa laang ng bahay ni Kuya,” ani Maymay, “naging close na kami ni Edward. Mabait kasi siya. Kahit guwapo, hindi isnabero,” susog pa ni Maymay.
They have met each other’s family. And, though, they would not confirm yet the true state of their relationship, wala daw silang nakikinitang problema, if ever.
But as Maymay said: “Ang hiwaga muna ng future namin individually sa showbiz ang mahalaga sa amin ni Edward.
“Lalo na, in my case, na pangarap kong nagkaroon ng magandang buhay ang aking pamilya. At nakikinita kong matutupad ko ito soon.”
