Nearly three years ago pala, bago pa man siya nag-decide na magpunta ng Philippines and try his hand in showbiz, na-meet na niya si Kathryn Bernardo, kuwento ni Tony Labrusca.
Nagtatrabaho raw siya bilang sales person sa isang mall sa Canada at nataong namili doon si Kathryn with some friends.
She later learned na dumating nga ang grupo ni Kathryn sa Canada.
Pilit daw na ipinakilala niya ang sarili kay Kathryn, na halatang nagmamadali.
“Who would have thought na more than two years after that chance meeting I had with Kathryn, I would work with her and Daniel Padilla in La Luna Sangre.
“Ang liit nga ng mundo,” natatawang pagre-reminisce ni Tony.
“To date, I will not claim na close kami ni Kathryn o ni Daniel, pero palagay ko, kilala nila akong dalawa. Which is more than enough for me,” susog pa ni Tony.
One of the more promising talents ng Kapamilya, he is one of the busiest too.
Masaya rin siya sa mga challenging role na kanyang natatanggap.
In his current series, Sino Ang May Sala, Mea Culpa, he plays a lawyer na merong nakakawindang na sikreto, na ang nakakaalam lang ay siya at ang kanyang mga kabarkada na pawang mga lawyer din.
Ang nasabing serye ay idinirek ni Andoy Ranay at Dan Villegas, co-stars him too with several of the best talents sa ABS-CBN, such as Jodi Sta. Maria, Bela Padilla, Boboy Garovillo, Ayen Munji-Laurel, Janice de Belen at Agot Isidro.
His fellow lawyer barkada includes Sandino Martin, Kit Thompson, Ivana Alawi and Ketchup Eusebio.

Jobert was given the award, dahil itinuturing siyang magaling na anchor, lalo’t sa mga subject na may kinalaman sa showbiz.
Jobert co-anchors the talk show, Mismo, na umeere daily sa DZMM Radyo Patrol with Ahwel Paz.
Art Padua, in his time, was also a radio personality and entertainment writer. He became President of FAMAS twice.
