Bongga kung true ang balitang gagawan ng pelikula ng director ng Crazy Rich Asians na si Jon M. Chu ang buhay ni Arnel Pineda ng Journey.
Ayon sa mga online report, matagal na raw itong nasa isip ni Direk Chu.
Sumikat si Arnel sa YouTube hanggang ma-discover na kaboses na kaboses siya ng original longtime vocalist ng Journey na si Steve Perry.

Siyempre alam nang lahat na nanggaling sa hirap si Arnel bago siya nadiskubre at naging vocalist ng Journey.
“Warner Bros. is still negotiating for the licensing of JOURNEY’s original songs. The studio has also acquired the rights to “Don’t Stop Believin’: Everyman’s Journey”, the 2012 documentary which chronicled Pineda’s rise from homeless tribute singer to arena rock star,” sabi pa sa nasabing article.
Mabilis na nag-react si Arnel sa kanyang Instagram account matapos nga niyang mabasa ang story tungkol dito : “If this article is even just half-true... I’m quite honored.. and should be an exciting movie to do but you need to reach out to me #MrJonMChu @wbpictures coz I’m right here waiting..”
At least inspiring at hindi kahirapan ng mga Pinoy ang ipakikita.
Baka nga mas madrama pa ang buhay ni Arnel kesa kaya Freddie Mercury ng Queen na ginawan ng pelikula Bomehian Rapsody na maraming pinaiyak na fans.
