Lucy nagbalik IG, 5 months nag-break dahil sa toxic sa social media

Five months na palang umiiwas sa paggamit ng kanyang social media account na Instagram si 4th District of Leyte Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez.

Ang kanyang mister na si Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez ang nagpaliwanag kung bakit kinailangang lubayan muna ng kanyang misis ang pag-post sa Instagram.

Ayon kay Mayor Goma, “self imposed time away” daw ang ginawa ni Lucy kaya inabot ng limang buwan na walang activity ang IG account nito.

Masyado na raw kasing naging toxic para kay Lucy ang paligid niya kaya minabuti niyang magpahinga muna sa pag-post sa social media.

Nitong nakaraang Lunes, nagbalik si Lucy sa pag-post ulit sa IG at heto ang naging mahabang paliwanag niya:

“I needed some time away. I just felt there was so much noise, and I wanted to take a step back.

“Maybe I was in that space where I pined for faded photographs of times past--where pictures happened because a moment was captured and not the other way around.

“There was a time photographs were snapped in a second, were candid, blurry even, and many times beautifully imperfect. But each was precious because each meant someone in the same room simply captured a random moment without taking anything away from it.

“I guess I will never be that person who can post in real time. Perhaps I am the kind that will always choose to live in the moment, to be fully present in it, and if I am fortunate to somehow have parts of that present frozen in photographs, then well and good.

“You know how you don’t want to blink because you don’t want to miss a thing? That is how i feel about life and photographs. I don’t want to be so busy taking pictures that I miss out on living and feeling all that is beautiful and real about life.

“I did not know how long I wanted to be away. I certainly did not know it would take this long. But I have much to share---yes, lots of photos but lots of stories, too. So while I am thankful for that self-imposed time away from this page, I do feel a tug to come back gently, mindfully...and yet without design.”

Isa sa nalungkot sa pag-alis ni Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid sa GMA-7 ay ang Kapuso singer-comedian na si Nar Cabico.

Nakasama kasi ni Nar si Regine sa weekly show na Full House Tonight at ilang beses na siyang nakapag-guest sa Sarap Diva. Kuwento ni Nar na marami raw naipayo si Regine sa kanya, lalo na pagdating sa pagiging isang songwriter.

“Isa sa naipayo sa akin ni Ate Reg ay ‘yung ma­ging generous ako sa mga songs na sinusulat ko.

“Ginawa niyang example si Kuya Ogie (Alcasid) na naging generous sa paggawa ng mga songs for other singers.

“Huwag ko raw itago or maging selfish ako sa mga songs na meron ako. Mas maganda raw yung ipinamigay ko iyon kasi doon darating ang maraming blessings,” sey ni Nar.

Ngayon ay may ilang singers na gustong hingan siya ng original composition.

Samantala, isa pala si Nar sa napiling 30 finalists ng PhilPOP 2018 dahil sa kanyang original composition na LDR: Layong Di Ramdam na tungkol sa long distance relationships.
