Miss International first time sa ‘Pinas

YSTAR - Baby E - Pang-masa

For the first time, Salve A., dito sa Pilipinas gaganapin ang Miss International Pageant, na ‘must’ kumbaga, na ang mga kasali ay hindi lamang may looks and talent, kundi dapat ay wala pang anak, at especially criminal record.

The event will be held January 29 next year (2019) at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena, in partnership with the new Department of Trade and Industry.

At the press launch held at the Conrad Hotel Thursday (October 5), the reigning Miss International, Veronica Salas Vallejo from Mexico, was presented.

Now on its 47th year, the title of Miss Enternational has never been won by any Filipino beauty yet. Baka this time na Manila gaganapain, ma-win na natin finally ang title.

Dapat daw pala sa Japan gaganapin ang pageant, pero, wala raw available na venue, since nakatakda ngang doon i-hold ang Olympic Games next year.

10 pelikulang tagalog bumabandera sa Busan

Samantala, at the ongoing 23rd Busan Internatioanal Films Festival, the Philippines, which this year marks Philippine Cinema’s 100th year, is the country of focus.

Kaya naman, 10 Filipino classics will be featured sa iba’t ibang section ng event. And the line up included A Portrait of the Artist as Filipino, year 1965 and directed by the late Lamberto Avellana; Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon (1976), directed by Eddie Romero; Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos (1976) directed by Mario O’Hara; Ang Panday (1980) starred and directed by Fernando Poe Jr.; Cain at Abel (1982) directed by Mike de Leon, Dekada ’70 (2002), directed by Remton Siega Zuasola.

Currently, ang delegation na headed by FDCP (Film Development Council of the Philippines) Chair Liza Diño-Seguerra is in Busan to attend the international film event.

Joj and Jai pareho nang teacher

Count former Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) housemates, Joj and Jai Agpangan, twins in real life, as the newest to hit town.

The too just graduated with a degree in BS Education sa UP Los Baños.

They occasionally appear on tv and the movies. Kaya, hindi pa alam kung magiging full time teachers sila.

They are only both in their 20’s.

Her running mate naman, we heard, definitely, will be Gian Sotto, now a councilor ng third district ng QC, and the only son nina Helen Gamboa and Senate President Tito Sotto.

Mark gustong mag-mayor

Formerly the governor ng Pampanga, hindi na ito ang gustong maangking muli ni Mark Lapid, sa pagbabalik niya sa pulitika  this coming elections. He may run daw as Angeles City Mayor, the same position who in his Dad, former Senator Lito Lapid, failed na mapanalunan sa nakaraang election.

Did we hear it right that Senator Lito will run again for Senator sa election din na darating?

In any case, ito ang tanong, since they both play important roles sa ongoing top action series, FPJ Ang Probinsyano, topbilled by Coco Martin, paano kaya sila mag-e-exit sa show?

Anong klaseng ending o ‘kamatayan’ kaya ang naghihintay sa kanila?

Janno binigyan ng tribute ang loveteams

And last but not the least, guess who just turned Kapamilya via the Star Music ?

Ang Star Music, of course, is the record label ngABS CBN and Star Cinema.

The answer, Janno Gibbs.

His first single for the record company is titled Feeling JKL.

JKL, of course, stands for the love team nina James Reid and Nadine Lustre (JaDine); Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla (KathNiel) and Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil (LizQuen).

The song, na siya mismo ang composer is a tribute raw to the three love tandem.
