Bong tatlong taon nang absent sa birthday ng ama

Birthday last Thursday, March 8, ni former Senator Ramon Revilla, Sr., na noong kanyang kapanahunan was considered one of the very few influential box-office stars.

Of Senator Bong’s decision nga pala to produce a movie for his three sons, Bryan, Luigi at Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, which will be released by his family’s film firm, Imus Productions, malapit na itong matapos. Lahat silang tatlo have their respective choices of their leading ladies.

Napili ni Bryan na makapareha si Carla Humphries. Balik naman sa pag-arte si Danita Paner via this yet to-be-titled action flick, yes, as Luigi’s leading lady.

Si Vice Gov. Jolo naman ay for the first time makakatambal si Rhian Ramos. Well, of this movie ni Vice Jolo, did we hear it right that his Mom, actress and incumbent Bacoor City Mayor Lani Mercado will do a special role?

Eh ang girlfriend kaya niyang si Jodi Sta. Maria? Will she, too, do a special appearance in Vice Jolo’s comeback movie?

RS balak mag-produce ng walong pelikula

Wow Salve A., winner in the katatapos na 38th Oporto International Film Festival, held in Portugal recently, ang pelikulang Bhoy Intsik, which won RS Francisco, entrepreneur and actor cum film producer two local awards this year; the Sinagtala Award for the Best Actor and another Best Actor trophy from the 38th Star Awards for Movies.

Well, the award naman which Bhoy Intsik, directed by Joel Lamangan, won in the 38th Oporto International Film Festival was the Special Jury Award.

Inspired by his winning streak, so to speak, plano ni RS na mag-produce, at least, eight movies before the year ends.

Admittedly a gay, RS’ Dad is once upon a time Sampaguita Pictures lawyer actor, Rudy Francisco.

The late actor-turned Quezon City Councilor Fred Montilla was RS’ uncle.
