Angel hindi nagdadamot

Angel Locsin, during a lull in her recent shoot for a new digital campaign for one of her endorsement Mang Inasal, recalls that in one of her conversation with Eddie Gutierrez, when he was still being perennially cast in project with Richard (Gutierrez), Eddie told him of a meeting with then his favorite singer, the late singing icon Elvis Presley.

He was with some fellow Sampaguita stars, one of whom was Susan Roces. “Namamasyal kami sa Universal Studios,” kuwento daw ni Eddie, when he chanced upon Elvis.

“Immediately, Tito Eddie daw approached Elvis,” Angel related. “And Elvis entertained him.

“Pero, heto na daw ang drama,” Angel continued. “Nang mag-request daw siyang magpa-picture silang dalawa in the camera of a photographer who was with them, Elvis politely refused.

“Instead daw, he called for this own photographer and instructed him to take his and Eddie’s picture. Followed by a group picture with the rest of his companions.

“Then daw, Elvis asked for his address. And promised Tito Eddie he would get his copies via the mail.

“True enough daw, nakuha niya by mail ang mga retratong kinunan sa kanila nina Elvis,” Angel continued, beaming.

Then, added: “Ang galing , ‘di ba?”

Of course, dito sa atin, hindi lang approachable, kung hindi accommodating pa ang mga artista. Tulad, halimbawa, ni Angel. Whenever a fan or a group of them ask na magpakuha ng picture kasama si Angel, pumapayag siyang magpalitrato gamit ang mga cellphone ng kanyang fans.

At least nga naman, instant ang happiness na naibibigay mo sa mga humiling at humihiling.

By the way, ang director ng ginagawang digital shoot ni Angel for Mang Inasal ay si Direk Benjie Bernardino.

Eddie at Annabelle, 35 years na

Speaking of Eddie, guess how long na sila married ng asawang si Annabelle Rama?

Thirty five years.

And the key kung bakit hanggang ngayon, nananati­ling maganda ang kanilang pagsasama ay dahil constant daw ang communication nila ni Annabelle. At saka mabait daw si Annabelle, maalaga at mahusay pang magluto.

In the case of Eddie, tinu-tolerate niya si Annabelle, knowing that because of her kaya masaya at intact ang kanilang mga anak.

Loisa mas bagay kay Yves kesa kay Joshua

Joshua Garcia should watch out. At baka mawalan siya ng ka-love team na si Loisa Andalio, with whom he was teamed up with in the high rating series, Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita.

Joshua and Loisa were former boarders ni Kuya in Pinoy Big Brother (PBB).

Well, in last Satuday’s episode of Ipaglaban Mo, featured in the lead si Loisa, as a young girl na idinimanda ang kanyang ama at isang kapatid na lalaki, dahil pinatay ng mga ito mismo sa kanyang harapan ang lalaking kanyang pinakamamahal, played by another former PBB housemate, Yves Flores.

Pero, sa huling batch ng PBB boarders si Yves kabilang. At malamang na ilang taon din ang tanda niya kay Loisa.

Yet, in Ipaglaban Mo, the two look good together.

Sana, they will be teamed up in another project soon.

Loisa is hoping so, too, after Nasaan Ka Ng Kailangan Kita, magkaroon na agad siya ng offer na series. Kung sabagay, gayundin si Joshua, pahinga pa naman.

In the case of Yves, nasa cast daw siya ng upcoming series na Be My Lady, topbilled by Erich Gonzales and PBB big winner Daniel Matsunaga, na naging kasama sa Bahay ni Kuya nina Loisa at Joshua.
