Buti na lang at hindi nag-panic si Lani: Jolo muntik ma-coma!
Friday afternoon., Chit, my sister, and fellow entertainment columnist and reporter, Francis Simeon, was at the PNP Custodial Center in Camp Crame, para bisitahin si Senator Bong Revilla.
Senator Bong and his friend, fellow Senator Jinggoy Estrada, has been detained in the said detention center for at least, nine months now.
Also present were Senators Bong and Jinggoy’s respective wife, Bacoor Representative Lani Mercado and Precy Ejercito.
Unlike in the previous visit we had, particularly with Senator Bong, there was an atmosphere of gloom na mararamdaman ka, as he and Lani entertained us.
Husband and wife said, they are glad na finally, son Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, according to his doctors at the Asian Hospital in Muntinlupa, is out of danger na. Unless magkaroon ng complications, which they, including us, keep praying for na huwag naman sana.
Kahapon (Saturday) daw, nakatakda si VG Jolo to submit to a series of tests. Hanggang ngayon pala, ‘di pa nahihilom ng tuluyang ’yang sugat na nilikha ng bala na tumama sa kanyang kaliwang dibdib.

Cong. Lani said she’s intensely praying na soon, too, mabuo at magkasama-sama uli silang pamilya.

Nadia pagma-manage sa restaurant ang bagong pinagkakakitaan
Also at the said detention center that day was Senator Jinggoy’s wife, Precy, who was with daughter, Jill, who’ll turn nine years old Monday (March 9). The girl was with friends, Isah herself nine years old and Sofia, 7, daughters both ni Nadia Montenegro, former Regal Baby and Mom to aspiring actress, Inah Asistio.
From Isah, we learned that her dad, Boy Asistio, is still confined at the Philippine Heart Center, after suffering ng severe heart attack.
To sustain her family, Nadia, who occasionally do movies and TV, too, runs a restaurant in Greenhills, according to Precy.
We took the opportunity to ask Isah kung true na nanliligaw uli sa kanyang Ate Inah si Derek Ramsay.
Ang kanyang sagot: ‘‘Dati ho. Pero, ‘di na ngayon. Ganunpaman, nanatili pa rin siyang close sa amin.”
