Wow, grabe, as in grabe, JC de Vera describes his excitement over his current assignment na isang pelikula produced by Star Cinema, and co-starring him with Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta, and Jessy Mendiola.

‘‘Well, this experience, I’m sure, I will enjoy. Although, nakikinita ko ring masyado akong matsa-challenge.

‘‘Working with two icons sa industry ay alam kong ‘di biro. Maski si Jessy has proven her worth na, acting-wise.

‘‘Kaya, JC,’’ ani JC, pointing to himself, ‘‘behave. Malaking challenge itong kinahaharap mo.’’

The movie, titled Never Ever Say Goodbye, according to Jessy is the reason kung bakit pinaikli niya ang kanyang buhok. Wika niya, para maiba raw ang looks niya sa character na kanyang ginampanan in her last movie, The Trial, which co-starred her with John Lloyd Cruz, Gretchen Barretto kasama si Richard Gomez.

It’s Showtime may double celebration!

If the hosts and everyone else connected with the ABS-CBN musical noontime show, It’s Showtime, are all grinning from ear-to-ear, especially kahapon, November 24, it is because sila ang nanalo sa Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC)’s Star Awards for TV for Best Variety Show.

Bale ba, Vice Ganda romped away with the title Best Male Host of a Variety Show.

‘‘Kaya, double celebration kami,’’ anang Business Unit head ng Showtime na si Reiley ‘‘Jun’’ Santiago.

Aside from Vice Ganda, Showtime’s hosts also include Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, his girlfriend Coleen Garcia, Vhong Navarro, and Karylle.

Occasional host si Angel Locsin. It’s Showtime is directed by Bobet Vidanes.

Perla nanghihinayang na hindi nakasama sa party ng mga senior actress

Obvious, anang senior actress na si Perla Bautista, na mabait ang Diyos sa kanilang mga senior citizen sa showbiz. In her case raw halimbawa, hindi siya nagkakasakit ng mabigat. Kaya naman daw tuluy-tuloy ang pagkakaroon niya ng projects, the last of which daw was Moon of Desire.

Perla also cited a more senior actress than she who is recently figured in an accident. While tumutulong sa paglilinis ng kanilang garden nadulas ito at nabagok ang ulo.

Anytime soon, ayon kay Perla, she might start on a new project.

Meanwhile, ayon kay Perla, she has a movie na kasali sa Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2014.

Asked why, wala siya sa katatapos na pagtitipon for movie icons, organized nina former President and now Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and Manay Ichu Maceda, Perla said, plinano raw talaga nila ni Anita Linda na pumunta.
