Umamin na rin Yam mabilisan lang ang naging relasyon kay EJ Falcon

Inamin ni Yam Concepcion sa presscon ng upcoming series, Pure Love, co-starring her with Alex Gonzaga, Yen Santos, Arjo Atayde, Matt Evans, and Joseph Marco, na nagkaroon sila ng relasyon ni Ejay Falcon, while they were doing the series Dugong Buhay, were Arjo played a kontrabida.

But obviously, pagkatapos ng airing ng Dugong…, kasabay ding nagtapos ang kanilang naramdaman sa isa’t isa.

Dito sa Pure Love, makakasamang muli nina Yam hindi lang si Arjo kung hindi si Sunshine Cruz din. Pumapel sa Dugong Buhay bilang ina nina Ejay at Arjo si Sunshine.

Asked about what to her is pure love, sagot ni Yam, siguro raw one’s feeling for the Almighty. At kung ano sa akala niya pagtinging nararamdaman niyang mayroon ang Panginoon sa kanya.

For Yam, nothing can beat the purest of love na ipinararamdam sa isang tao ng Diyos.

Inamin ni Yam na, at one time, she felt lost. Nang muli lang daw matagpuan niya ang Panginoon at saka feeling niyang ‘‘nabuhay’’ siyang muli.

Directed by Veronica Velasco, Pure Love is an adaptation of a Korean nobela na sinusubaybayan ng mga Pilipino, kabilang na si Alex, aniya.

‘‘Kaya, nang malaman ko na magkakaroon ng Tagalog version, I kept hoping na mapasama ako,’’ pag-amin ni Alex.

Ito ang bale pang-apat na programa ni Alex as she is also co-host to Luis Manzano in the top-rating reality show, The Voice Kids, and the gag shows, Banana Nite and Banana Split Extra Scoop.

Julia kinalasan agad ni Enrique

May assignment agad si Enrique Gil after his stint as leading man to Julia Barretto in the late afternoon series, Mirabella, which had its finale Friday (June 27),  a movie this time. Ganunpaman ’di si Julia ang magiging leading-lady niya. Instead si Liza Soberano, who was his partner sa Bea Alonzo-Dingdong Dantes blockbuster starrer, She’s the One.

In the movie, matindi ang naging chemistry ng dalawa. Kaya, obviously, napansin ng Star Cinema.

Seventeen years old lamang si Liza, samantalang turning 20 naman si Enrique. The Bet ang title ng movie launching ng dalawa.

Huling napanood si Liza sa top series na Got to Believe, top billed by the popular love team nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla.

Magwawaging Mr. & Ms. Chinatown gagawing artista

Most of the male and female Filipino-Chinese candidates, for the Mr. & Miss Chinatown Philippines 2014 presented to media at the Gloria Maris Gateway, Thursday June 26, dream to be either a Xian Lim or Kim Chiu.

Which is, likely, na matutupad, as one of the prizes at stake for this year’s winners of the titles Mr. Chinatown Philippines and Miss Chinatown Philippines, is a contract for Star Magic, the discovery and talent arm of both ABS-CBN and Star Cinema.

Other prizes na naghihintay sa mga mananalo ay cash prize of P500,000 each and a trip to either Beijing or Shanghai in China.

Well, the 24 candidates for the two titles are (females): Giezlie Ong, Christine Grace Co, Judielyn Chang, Abegail Chua Castor, Chelsea Robato, Nicole Cordoves, Tola Orendain, Felipa Lim, Sharmmay Cu, Jamie Reyes, Lourdes Aurora Cu and Anne Unson.

The males naman include Kurt Joshua Ong, Oscar Daniel Miralles, Wesley Chawn Cua, Michael Anthony Tiong, Mark Anthony Lim, John Ralph Boo, Jan Hung Timothy Lawrence Yap, King Choi, Raven Robin Go, Cedric Cheston Miranda, and David Sy Licacuco.

Ang mananalo ay kokoronahan sa July 27 at a venue to be announced later.
