Balitang ang kakaibang closeness between Aljur and Louise ang dahilan din kung bakit nakipag-break din ang boyfriend ni Louise na si Enzo Pineda.

Solenn takot mapahiya kay Vhong

Tulad ng kanyang best friend na si Solenn Heussaff, whose boyfriend Nico Bolzico is an Argentinian, Isabelle Daza’s current love is a foreigner as well.

Isang French naman si Adrien Semblat, ang boyfriend ng aktres.

Isabelle, a GMA 7 TV talent, just like Solenn, is, of course, elder of the two daughters of former Miss Universe (circa 1960) Gloria Diaz. Her dad is Gabriel Daza, owner of a chain of restaurants.

Like Isabelle, who did the movie It Takes a Man and a Woman, produced by Star Cinema and which co-starred her with John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo, Solenn is herself part of the Star Cinema-Regal Entertainment, Inc. offering Da Possessed.

Da Possessed marks not just Solenn’s first movie with Star Cinema (she is under contract to Regal Entertainment for films) and Vhong Navarro, bilang leading man, kung hindi ng iba pang members ng cast na sina Joey Marquez, John “Sweet” Lapus, Empoy Marquez, Smokey Manaloto, Beverly Salviejo, Lito Pimentel, Joy Viado, Matet de Leon, and child star Aaliyah Belmoro.

Direction is by Bb. Joyce Bernal and, again, Solenn’s first time na makatrabaho bilang direktor.

At the presscon for Da Possessed, Solenn admits na aware siyang ’di siya ang original choice for the role of Vhong’s leading lady but Angel Locsin.

But management of Star Cinema requested Angel to give up the project para makapag-concentrate siya sa kanyang role in the ongoing high rating series na The Legal Wife, where she plays the title role.

But as Solenn said, ‘‘A good role still a good role, no matter if one is the second or third choice. Ang mahalaga it was awarded to you in the end.

‘‘Kaya need mo to prove to them na you are as better as their original choice.’’

Solenn believes she delivered. Feel niya, she did her share to make Da Possessed both a horror and hilarious film.

‘‘Pinatunayan kong I can do comedy roles, too,’’ stated Solenn. ‘‘I wish nga lang they allowed me to dance in one scene man lang sa pelikula.’’

A self-confessed fan of Vhong, more than his being a comedian, TV host, and actor, hanga raw siya sa pagiging dancer ni Vhong.

Laughing, susog ni Solenn: ‘‘Kung sabagay, it’s just as well na wala kaming dance scene. Baka napahiya ako.’’
