Janice nahihirapang maghanap ng boyfriend

Janice de Belen turned another year older kahapon (Nov. 6).

While she admits she is currently doing extra well in her showbiz career, her love life is another matter. She has remained loveless since her breakup with her last boyfriend, a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo.

But this doesn’t mean she is not happy. She is. ’Di lang dahil sa lalo pa yatang bumobongga niyang showbiz career kung hindi feeling niya she has raised her children well.

All four of them ay ipinagmamalaki niyang mabait, masunurin, at matalino.

Bagama’t ’di niya ipinagkakait na makita ang mga ito ng kanillang ama, Janice’s estranged husband John Estrada, sa kanya lahat nakatira sina Inah, Moira, Kaila, at Yuan.

May townhouse na nabili si Janice na New Manila na malapit sa school na pinapasukan ng kanyang mga anak.

Doon sa mga ’di pa nakakaalam, grandma na si Janice to two kids ng kanyang panganay na si Igi Boy (Real name: Angelo Luigi Muhlach) kay Aga Mulach, sina Adrianne at Alejandro.

’Di raw niya pinakikialaman ang pagpapalaking ginagawa ng anak niya at ng asawa nito. She thinks na bilang parents ng mga bata ay kanilang responsibilidad ito.

“But definitely, I enjoy being with them, iba nga kasi talaga ’pag apo mo ang involved.

“Feeling ko, I love them more. Basta,” pahayag ni Janice.

Janice, while busy ding gumawa ng movies, has two regular shows with ABS-CBN, ang Ina, Kapa­tid, Anak at ang talk program na SIR (Showbiz Inside Report).

She was in the cast of the box-office hit horror-suspense movie, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles.

Matteo palaban sa hubaran

Uso ngayon among actors ang kung tawagin ay sensuality workshop lalo’t may pagka-daring ang project na kanilang gagawin.

Ayon kay Matteo Guidicelli, he and Jessy Mendiola were both required to undergo this workshop para nga naman habang kinukunan ang mga sensual at delikadong eksena between them for Precious Heart Romance Presents Paraiso ay hindi sila magiging conscious o lalo na mag-alangan.

And it helped, according to Matteo. Kahit daw noon he was never conscious of displaying his body. Siguro nga dahil part ito of his being an athlete.

But displaying it on TV, conscious siya na makita sa halos lahat ng eksena na half-naked siya. Kaya, he cannot imagine raw how Jessy felt, kung hindi nga sila nag-submit sa sensuality workshop.

So, is he prepared for a much daring role after Paraiso? Nakatawa, ang sagot ni Matteo, “Kasabihang, let’s cross the bridge once we are there. Besides, allow me first to finish Paraiso. My mind and heart at the moment ay naka-focus sa series.”

Caridad Sanchez inaalala ang pagkamatay ni Nida Blanca, 11 years na pala

Today, Nov. 7, marks the 11th death anniversary of Nida Blanca. Let’s all pray for her.

Caring or Caridad Sanchez, fellow movie actress and good friend of Nida, remembers that the late actress asked her the night before her death that the two of them attend the cremation then of former child actress Nenita Vidal, known as the ace dentist Dr. Beng Eraña.

But since Caring said nilalagnat siya noon, she begged off.

It was the late Douglas Quijano, starmaker and talent manager, who informed her the following day na natagpuan ngang patay na si Nida.

Immediately, Caring daw went to Camp Crame nang malaman niyang from the Atlanta Bldg. in Greenhills, where Nida’s body was found, her remains was brought doon.
