Cabinet revamp ni Marcos, ‘di papogi - Bersamin

MANILA, Philippines — Itinanggi ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin na papogi lamang ang kautusan ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. na courtesy resignation sa mga opisyal ng kanyang gabinete.

Sinabi ni Bersamin na ang paghingi ng courtesy resignation sa mga cabinet officials ay isang “horable” na para umalis ang sinuman na hindi natugunan ang expectations ng Pangulo.

“When I said that we are all serving at the will of the President, at the President’s pleasure, we will have to humanize. So, demanding a courtesy resignation is the best way of doing it because all that you can do is just to accept, and that’s the end of the debate”, pahayag pa ni Bersamin.

Tiniyak naman ng kalihim  na ang evaluation process ay naayon sa layon ng Pangulo na mapabuti ang performance ng gobyerno at maging epektibo ang mga pinapatupad ng programa at proyekto ng pamahalaan.

 “Si Presidente narinig nyo siya ‘immediate’. But you know humanly possible na evaluation is one at the time. Hindi mo pwedeng i-lump sum yung mga cabinet secretaries because each has a different area of responsibility, each has a burden that is diffirent from the other, from the next one,” sinabi pa ni Bersamin.

Nangako naman si Bersamin na ang proseso ng pagpili ay magiging mabilis na hindi nakokompromiso ang due diligence.

Sa susunod na linggo, muli umano silang mag-aanunsyo kaugnay sa cabinet revamp sa sanda­ling mayroon nang desisyon patungkol dito.
