VP Leni sasailalim sa quarantine
Bodyguard tinamaan ng COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — Matapos na magpositibo sa COVID-19 ang isa sa kanyang close-in security, nakatakdang magpa-quarantine si Vice President Leni Robredo.
Ayon kay Robredo, takda sana siyang pumunta sa Bicol matapos ang Swab Cabs operation para bigyang respeto ang yumaong kaibigan na namatay sa cancer.
“I was all set to go. But just a few minutes ago, I received a contact tracing call informing me that my close-in security has tested positive (COVID-19),” pahayag ni Robredo.
Aniya, halos araw-araw ngayong linggo ay kasama niya ang kanyang close-in security kahit sa loob ng sasakyan, sa elevator at sa opisina.
“We have regular surveillance antigen testing in the office and we do follow very strict health protocols but because I was a very close contact, I need to do the required quarantine and do an (RT-PCR) test after my quarantine,” dagdag ni Robredo.
