MANILA, Philippines — Inanunsyo ng Malacañang na patuloy ang pagpapatupad ng travel ban sa mga dayuhan matapos na palawigin pa ito ng Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) hanggang Abril 30.

Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, tanging ang mga may “valid entry exemption” documents lamang na ibinigay ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) bago mag-Marso 22, 2021 ang papayagan na pumasok sa bansa.

“The IATF likewise approved...the extension of the temporary suspension of foreign nationals until April 30, 2021, while foreign nationals with valid entry exemption do­cuments duly issued by the DFA prior to March 22, 2021 will be allowed entry to the Philippines,” ani Roque.

Kabilang sa exempted sa travel ban ay ang mga diplomats, miyembro ng mga international organizations at kanilang mga dependents, mga banyaga na kailangan sa medical repatriation, asawa at anak ng mga Filipino na bumi­yahe kasama nila, mga banyagang seafarers na nasa ilalim ng green lane programs, at may mga emergency at humanita­rian cases.

Samantala, inaprubahan din ng IATF ang pagpapatuloy ng training ng mga national athletes sa Olympic Training Bubble sa Calamba, Laguna.

Aprubado rin ang pagsasailalim sa probinsiya ng Quirino sa ilalim ng Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine hanggang Abril  30, 2021.
