Mga ex-opisyal ng DILG at BFP pinakakasuhan ng COA

MANILA, Philippines — Pinakakasuhan ng Commission on Audit (COA) ang mga dating opisyal ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) at Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) ng paglabag sa “Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act” may kinalaman sa kontrata sa pagbili ng 184 fire trucks at iba pang gamit ng bumbero na nagkakahalaga ng mahigit P1.7 bilyon.

Ang mga pinakakasuhan ng COA ay sina dating DILG  Secretary Jose D. Lina Jr., Atty. Marius P. Corpus dating DILG Undersecretary,  Gen. Francisco Senot BFP fire chief, Senior Supt. Jose Collado, Senior Supt. Eduardo Lagumbay, Atty.  Agripino Morga, DILG Representative, Senior Inspector Edwin Tabaranza, Senior Supt. Nimfa Cuartel, Supt. Leonard Consolacion, Chief Inspector Joseph Bacareza, Engr. Arsenio Rodriguez Jr., Senior Fire Officer 4 Aniceto Herrera Jr., Fire Officer 2 Renato Plantado, Senior Insp. Mario Cruz, Senior Insp. Renato Molina, Ruben Bearis Jr, Ludivina Quinto, Supt. Florante Cruz, Supt. Arturo Ofreio, Teofista Anos,  Anos Research Manufacturing  (ARM) owner, Ma. Estrella Anos-Garcia, ARM Ge­neral Manager, Chief Supt. Enrique Linsangan, Chief Insp. Henry Mojica, Chief Insp. Jerry Candido, Atty. Marino Bermudez, Engr. Nelson Se, Lilibeth Simangan, Reynaldo Quirante, Umalab Tadina, Elizabeth Paquinto, Ma. Villa Miranda, chief Supt. Rolando Bandilla, Inspector Stephen Jardeleza, Oscar Villegas, Globert   Paul Garcia, Leroy Enriquez, Chief Inspector Jhufel Brananola, Inspector Benjamin Ventajar, Ruel Geronimo, Zaide Eloy, Raul Flores Jr., Leonardo Sabellina Jr.

Inirekomenda ang pagsasampa ng kaukulang kaso laban sa mga naturang opisyal dahil umano sa pag­labag sa Laws, Rules and Regulations ng kaukulang provision ng RA No. 9184 na mas kilala sa “Government Procurement Reform Act” at ang kanyang Implementing  Rules and Regulation and Executives Order No. 262.

Sinabi pa sa COA report na nilabag din umano ng mga naturang opisyal ang section 4 (6) ng Presidential Decree No. 1445 at ang COA Memorandum.
