HVT ilalantad kay VP Robredo sa closed door meeting
MANILA, Philippines — Tanging sa closed door meeting lamang maaaring ilantad kay Vice President at anti-drug czar Leni Robredo ang mga high value target sa drug war ng pamahalaan upang hindi makompromiso ang operasyon.
Ito ang pinandigan ng Philippine National Police (PNP) bilang pagsuporta sa posisyon ni Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Director General Undersecretary Aaron Aquino.
“Remember, the PDEA is the head of the law enforcement cluster...whatever the head says, I will always respect it, being a member of the law enforcement... so yes, I adhere to what the director general says,” pahayag ni PNP Officer-in-Charge Lt. Gen. Archie Gamboa.
Ayon kay Gamboa ang Inter-Agency Committee on Illegal Drugs (ICAD) ay apat na clusters at ang Bise Presidente ay dapat mag-pokus sa aspeto ng adbokasya at rehabilitasyon.
Sinabi ni Gamboa na ang law enforcement at aspeto ng prosekusyon sa kampanya ng gobyerno kontra droga kung saan ang anti-illegal drugs operation ay para sa PNP, PDEA at National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
Nabatid na ang nasabing listahan ng mga HVT sa drug campaign ay hinihingi ni Robredo sa PDEA at PNP matapos ang pagpupulong ng ICAD.
Hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay wala pang naibibigay na talaan ang PDEA at PNP ng mga HVT kay Robredo.
