17 teams handa nang pumadyak sa Tour of Luzon
MANILA, Philippines — Handang handa na ang 17 tropang magbabakbakan sa Tour of Luzon: Great Revival na aarangkada sa Paoay.
Tatayong guest of honor si Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla sa Opening Ceremony at Team Presentation ng 119 athletes at 17 teams.
“It will be a momentous event with the Lord’s blessing showering the whole entourage a day before The Great Revival hits the road,” ani Patrick “Pató” Gregorio na chairman ng organizer DuckWorld PH.
Kasama ring dadalo si Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino na president ng Philippine Olympic Committee at PhilCycling gayundin sina Ilocos Norte Governor Matthew Manotoc at Paoay Mayor Shiella Galano at si Bases Conversion and MPTC president Jose Ma. Lim.
Nasa Paoay na ang lahat ng teams maliban sa Team Pangasinan na nakatakdang dumating ngayong umaga.
Handa rin ang foreign teams na CCN Factory HK ng Hong Kong, Malaysia Pro Cycling, Bryton Racing Team ng Taiwan at Gapyeong Cycling Team ng South Korea.
Nasa Paoay na rin ang Standard Insurance Philippines, Victoria Sports Pro Cycling Team, 7-Eleven Click Roadbike Philippines at Go For Gold at ang Philippines Under-23 Tom N Toms, Excellent Noodles, DReyna Orion Cement, Dandex T-Prime Cycling Team, Exodus Army, MPT Drive Hub Cycling Team, 1 Team Visayas at One Cycling Mindanao.
Pormal na magsisimula ang karera bukas sa 190.70-km Paoay-Paoay Stage 1 kasunod ang 68.39-km Paoay-Vigan team time trial Stage 2, 130.33-km Vigan-San Juan Stage 3, 162.97-km Agoo-Clark Stage 4, 166.65 Clark-Clark (via New Clark City) Stage 5, 168.19 Clark-Lingayen Stage 6, 15.14-km individual time trial Labrador-Lingayen Stage 7 at Stage 8 na matatapos sa Camp John Hay sa Baguio City.
