“Whatever it took. We were super focused from the start. We knew it was gonna be a hard game but we pulled through,” sabi ng 26-anyos na si Davison na iginiya ang High Speed Hitters sa 7-3 record para sa fourth place tangan ang 20 points.
Namantsahan ang dating malinis na 9-0 baraha ng Cool Smashers sa torneo at nakasosyo ang Petro Gazz Angels (9-1) sa top spot.
“Just the hard work and dedication that we put in every day. It was represented thoroughly throughout this game,” ani Davison. “We work hard in practice by ourselves like nobody really knows so I’m glad it was represented with this game.”
Bago talunin ang Creamline ay umiskor muna ang PLDT ng 25-20, 25-17, 25-19 panalo sa Farm Fresh (4-6) noong Pebrero 4.
Sunod na lalabanan ng High Speed Hitters para sa kanilang asam na ikaapat na sunod na ratsada ang ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles (4-6) sa Pebrero 22 sa City of Passi Arena sa Iloilo City.
