Bucks sa East finals

NEW YORK — Nalampasan ng Milwaukee Bucks ang NBA-record na 48 points ni Kevin Durant sa Game Seven para takasan ang Brooklyn Nets sa overtime, 115-111 at umabante sa Eastern Conference Finals.

Kumamada si Giannis Antetokounmpo ng 40 points at 13 rebounds habang isinalpak ni Khris Middleton ang tiebreaking shot sa huling 40 segundo para sa 4-3 pagligpit ng Bucks sa Nets sa kanilang semifinals series.

Tumapos si Middleton na may 23 points at 10 rebounds sa pagpasok ng Milwaukee sa East Finals sa ikalawang pagkakataon sa huling tatlong taon.

Lalabanan ng Bucks sa conference finals series ang magwawagi sa semis duel ng Philadelphia 76ers at Atlanta Hawks.

“I can say for sure I’ve never been in a game like this, a Game 7 on the road with one of the best players in the world,” sabi ni Middleton.

Ang dalawang mintis na jumper ni Durant sa dulo ng extension ang tuluyan nang nagsara ng pintuan sa Brooklyn.

Nagdagdag si Durant ng 9 rebounds at 6 assists sa loob ng 53 minuto niyang paglalaro at dinala ang Nets sa overtime, 109-109 sa kanyang turnaround jumper.

Kumolekta naman si James Harden ng 22 points, 9 rebounds at 9 assists ngunit may malamyang 5-for-17 fieldgoal shooting para sa Brooklyn at humakot si Blake Griffin ng 17 points at 11 boards.

“I was just going out there and trying to give everything I can and it’s just frustrating,” wika ni Harden.
