Durant pahinga pa rin
OAKLAND, California — Hindi pa maglalaro si leading scorer Kevin Durant sa Game One ng 2019 NBA Finals na nakatakda sa Mayo 30.
Kasalukuyan pang nagrerekober ang two-time reigning finals MVP mula sa kanyang strained right calf.
Subalit posibleng makita sa series opener si big man DeMarcus Cousins.
“Potentially, but it’s up in the air,” wika ni Warriors head coach Steve Kerr.
Sinuri ang mga injury nina Durant at Cou-sins noong Huwebes at inaasahang maglalaro sa anumang bahagi ng championship series.
“We’ve known all along, it’s how he responds. There’s never been a point during this process where we’ve been able to say, ‘he’s going to play on such and such date,’ and there still isn’t, so we just keep going, keep moving forward,” wika ni Kerr kay Durant. “But again, he hasn’t spent any time on the court with us, hasn’t gone through an indivi-dual shooting workout.”
Nagmula naman si Cousins sa torn left quadriceps muscle na nakuha niya sa Game Two sa first round series ng Warriors at Los Angeles Clippers noong April 16.
