Alanganin si Green na makalaro sa Game 5

OAKLAND – Wala pang katiyakan kung makakapaglaro si Gloden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green sa Game 5 ng NBA Finals.

Ito ay matapos niyang hampasin ang maselang bahagi ng katawan ni Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James nang magkabuhol sila sa isang tagpo sa fourth quarter ng 108-97 panalo ng Warriors sa Game 4 noong Biyernes.

Sinabi ng 26-anyos na si Green na hinakbangan siya ni James na hindi niya nagustuhan.

“He stepped over me,” wika ni Green sa NBA television network. “There’s many routes you can take. Don’t step over me like that... I don’t care who you are. I’m not going to back down.”

Matapos ito ay nagkasigawan sina James at Green kung saan sinabi ng Cleveland star na “some of the words that came out of his mouth were a little bit overboard,” habang sumagot naman si Green ng, “Stuff that’s said on the court you will never get from me.”

Kinuha ng defending champion Warriors ang malaking 3-1 kalamangan sa kanilang best-of-seven championship series ng Cavaliers at maaaring tapusin ito sa kanilang home court sa Game 5 sa Lunes.

Ngunit ang paulit-ulit na nasabing klase ng fouls ni Green ay maaaring magresulta sa kanyang suspensyon kung rerebisahin ng league officials ang nasabing tagpo at mapapatunayang gumawa ng isang flagrant foul ang Golden State forward.

Posibleng masuspinde si Green sa Game 5 dahil sa kanyang mga playoff violations, isa na dito ang pagsipa sa maselang bahagi ng katawan ni Oklahoma City center Steven Adams, isang New Zealander, sa Western Conference finals.

Pinatawan ng mga referees si Green ng flagrant foul-1 ngunit itinaas ito sa flagrant foul-2 at pinagmulta ang Warriors player ng $25,000.

Kung isasama ang first-round flagrant foul, puwedeng masuspinde si Green sa Game 5 kung itataas ang kanyang ginawang foul kay James.

“I don’t know what should happen. It’s not my call,” wika ni James. “That’s the league office. They will take a look at it.”

Nagtala si Green ng mga averages na 15.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.9 blocked shots at 1.6 steals para sa Warriors sa playoffs.
