9 powerlifters sasabak sa Asian Championships

MANILA, Philippines – Malaki ang paniniwala ng Powerlifting Association of the Philippines (PAP) sa pangunguna ng kanilang presidenteng si Eddie Torres at director Cirilo Dayao na makakapag-uuwi ng maraming medalya ang mga pambansang atleta sa gaganaping Asian Powerlifting Championship sa India simula ngayon hanggang June 12.

Siyam na powerlifters ng Pilipinas ang makikipagtunggali laban sa pinakamahuhusay sa Asia sa pangu-nguna nina multi-medalist Betina Bordeos-72kg (open division) at Regie Ramirez (59kg open divsion) kasama sina Letecia Mangcao (47kg open division), Margarette Angulo (84kg junior division),  Dianne Kathleen Chiang (63kg junior division),  Alexis Nicole Go (84+ kg junior division), Abrea Rowella (47kg sub junior division), super Lola Anita Koykka (57kg open division) at Spencer Co (93kg junior division).

May 17 bansa ang maglalaban laban sa kumpetisyong ito kasama ang Japan, Philippines, Iran, Chinese Taipei, UAE, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Mongolian, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong at iba pang bansa sa Asia.
