PHL junior wushu artists sasalang na ngayon

MANILA, Philippines - Sisimulan ngayong umaga ang group competitions sa taolu (routine exercises) para sa 7th Asian Junior Wushu Championships sa Makati Coliseum.

Babanderahan nina 2012 World Junior Wushu Championships gold at silver medalist Alieson Ken Omengan at silver me-dalist Faith Liana Andaya ang kampanya ng bansa sa taolu na magtatampok sa mga atleta na magpapakita ng choreographed movements.

  Ang iba pang kasama sa grupo nina Omengan at Andaya ay sina Kimberly Macuha, Johnzenth Gajo, Christian Nicholas Lapitan, Vanessa Jo Chan, Joel Casem at Dave Degala.

Magiging panauhin naman si Philippine Wushu Ambassador actress-athlete Bea Binene.

Sa afternoon session ay mapapanood sina Vivine Wally (48kg) at Vita Zamora (52kg) sa sanda (combat) competition sa event na itinataguyod ng PSC, POC, Department of Tourism, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Standard Insurance, Canon cameras, MVP Sports Foundation, Arrow shirts, Summit water at Burlington socks.

Lalaban naman sa men’s class sina Thommy Aligaga (52kg), Clemente Tabugara, Jr. (56kg) at James Daquil (60kg).

Ang DZSR Sports Radio ang gagawa ng live coverage at ang Solar Sports ang magpapalabas ng ilang events via delayed basis.

Ang Business Mirror, Malaya Business Insight, Philippine Star Online, Pilipino Mirror at Manila Bulletin ang mga media partners katuwang ang Focus Media bilang LCD advertising partner at Xitrix Computer Corp. ang technical partner.

Lalaban si Agatha Chrystenzen Wong sa 32 forms taijijian, lalahok si Dave Degala sa changquan at sasabak si Alieson Ken Omengan sa nangun.

Kabuuang 23 bansa mula sa limang rehiyon sa Asia sa pangunguna ng China at Philippines ang mag-aagawan sa gintong medalya.
