Andi, mas pinili ang negosyo kesa samahan ang partner sa Asian Games

Abala sa kanyang negosyo si Andi Eigenmann matapos palawakin ang kanyang cafe sa Siargao.

Sa Instagram, ibinahagi ng aktres at entrepreneur na muling nagbukas ang Happy Islanders sa bago at mas malaking lokasyon.

Ibinahagi ni Andi ang kanyang excitement sa bagong yugto ng negosyo. “I’ve been ghosting you [‘cause] I’m working (on our cafe reopening and expansion!!!). And now I’m back and we are open again!! See you at our new spot right at Cloud 9 Beach.

“Feeling so so proud and excited for this next chapter for @happyislanders.siargao. We’ve grown and expanded, but the heart of Happy Islanders stays the same! It’s all about experiencing the island life we love, through good food, surfing, the ocean and our community. So so grateful to the entire team! Dahil sa reopening ng Happy Islanders, hindi nasamahan ni Andi ang partner na si Philmar Alipayo na nasa Japan para sa coaching stint kasama ang Philippine Surfing Team.

“@chepoxz had to miss this crazy final stretch cus he was in Japan coaching the Philippine Surfing Team at the Asian Games. So proud of him, but now I can’t wait for him to come home, see what we’ve built, experience it all… and finally get some work in too,” caption ni Andi.

Ang Happy Islanders, na naghahain ng healthy food at beverages, ay tatlong taon na simula noong nagbukas ito para sa locals ng Siargao.

Numerong 13, iba ang kahulugan kina Ice at Liza

Sa nalalapit na wedding anniversary sa December, binalikan ni Liza Diño ang 13 years na pagsasama nila ng partner na si Ice Seguerra.

Sa isang heartfelt post sa social media, inalala ni Liza ang kanilang mahabang pinagsamahan at kung paano nagkaroon ng espesyal na kahulugan para sa kanilang dalawa ang numerong 13.

Binigyan ng kanilang relasyon ng bagong kahulugan ang numero – mula sa dating itinuturing na malas, naging simbolo na ito ngayon ng pagmamahal, tibay at pagtitiwala nila sa isa’t isa.

“They say 13 is an unlucky number. But for us, it has always felt like magic. It was 2013 when we found each other again. Thirteen years had passed since we first met. And today, I’ve celebrated 13 birthdays with you.

“So maybe that’s what love does. It takes something people have decided is unlucky and gives it a completely different meaning. Because since you came back into my life, 13 has only ever meant love to me,” caption niya.

Asian pop category, itutuloy ng Grammy

Itutuloy ng Recording Academy ang bago nitong kategoryang Asian Pop sa 2027 Grammy Awards sa kabila ng pagbo-boycott ng BTS sa nasabing kategorya.

Kinumpirma ni Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. na mapapasama pa rin ang Best Asian Pop Music Performance award sa seremonya sa susunod na taon matapos ang ilang buwang diskusyon.

Ang kontrobersyal na kategorya ay ipinakilala noong June para umano ipagdiwang ang lalim, diversity at pambihirang paglago ng pop artistry na nagmumula sa Asia.

Ngunit noong July, inanunsyo ng BTS na hindi sila magsusumite ng entry para sa 2027 Grammys.

Ayon sa grupo: “We feel the new category segregates Asian musical traditions (like K-pop, J-pop, and C-pop) rather than letting them compete in general mainstream fields. We wish for music to be heard and loved for what it is, rather than being divided by region or language.”

Dahil dito, muling pinag-isipan ng Recording Academy ang bagong kategorya noong August. Pero matapos ang mga diskusyon, nagpasya pa rin ang Academy na panatilihin ang kategorya para sa 2027 ceremony.

“We understand this conclusion will not satisfy everyone, and that never feels good. But at the same time, we are confident it’s the right conclusion for the music community overall.

“As is the case with all our categories, we will continue to diligently engage with the music community and keep striving to honor this music — and all music — in the best possible way.
