Lee Seung-gi, may mga gustong gawin sa ‘Pinas!

Dumating sa bansa ang South Korean Superstar na si Lee Seung-gi last Friday, May 26, sakay ng private plane ni former Ilocos Sur governor Chavit Singson.

Paglapag ng eroplano sa Platinum Skies Aviation hangar ay agad siyang sinalubong ni Gov. Chavit kasama ang invited entertainment press sa Pinas. Shortly after ay nagkaroon ng mini-presscon para sa kanila.

Nagbalik sa bansa si Lee Seung-gi para sa kanyang Asia Tour Concert: The Dreamers Dream Chapter 2 sa New Frontier, Cubao na ginanap kagabi (May 27).

Pero bukod sa concert, ini-reveal ni Gov. Chavit na isa si Lee Seung-gi sa investors ng itatayo niyang negosyo under LCS Group of Company.

“Magtatayo kami ng Little Seoul dito sa Metro Manila, mga buildings, mga centers. Do’n sa Metrowalk. Parang little Korea pero tatawagin nating Little Seoul,” pahayag ng dating gobernador.

“Mag-uumpisa pa lang. Baka abutin ‘yon ng two to three years. Ito ipa-finalize na. Hopefully magkapirmahan na pagpunta dito kasama ng mga kasama niyang investors,” dagdag ni Gov. Chavit.

This explained kung bakit noong nakaraang Marso ay bumisita ng Vigan, Ilocos Sur si Lee Seung-gi na siyang hometown ni Gov. Chavit. ‘Yun pala ay may plano pala silang magtayo ng negosyo. At madadalas nga raw sa bansa ang Korean actor/singer dahil dito.

Bukod dito ay nais din daw ni Gov na mag-produce ng pelikula para kay Lee Seung-gi at magkaroon ng musical career dito sa Pinas.

Sa mini-presscon ay nabanggit ni Lee Seung-gi na nag-enjoy siya during his stay in Vigan last March.

“I visited Vigan and I found it a beautiful city. Someday we would like to film a series there.

“I was here for travel the last time and I really liked it. I was surprised that a lot of Filipinos recognized me, and I really enjoyed that moment,” sey ni Seung-gi sa pamamagitan ng kanyang interpreter.

Tungkol naman sa collaboration nila ni Gov, ayon kay Lee Seung-gi. “it’s only our second time to meet but we are looking forward to more Philippine projects together.”

Welcome rin sa kanya ang ideyang makagawa ng Korean shows sa Pinas at makapag-release ng kanta in the near future.

“If there’s a chance, I’m keen to maybe release a song in Filipino. I really think if we can create Korean shows in the Philippines, it’s gonna be awesome,” he said.

Jodi, may inamin sa collab ng GMA at ABS

Aminado si Jodi Sta. Maria na talagang hindi niya inakala na darating ang panahon na magkakaroon ng partnership between GMA 7 and ABS-CBN.

“Many years ago, kasi no one thought not even in their wildest dreams that this moment right here would be possible,” pahayag ni Jodi sa mediacon ng Unbreak My Heart, ang first ever collaboration TV series ng GMA 7 and ABS-CBN.

“Before, ABS-CBN and GMA 7 were rivals, competitors for ratings, for audience share. But now, nagbago ‘yun.

“We are no longer rivals but we are here today as collaborators and partners with goals and that is to provide more opportunities for people in the industry that we have grown to love and to give the audience and provide them quality entertainment,” patuloy ni Jodi.

Ang nasabing proyekto ay hudyat na nga raw ng pagtatapos ng rivaly between ABS-CBN and GMA 7.

“I feel grateful, honored and blessed to be part of this project and I would like to thank everyone who made this beautiful impossibility possible. To ABS-CBN and GMA 7 and of course to Viu who will provide us that streaming platform in strengthening and showcasing Filipino talent worldwide.

“I think, it’s the end of rivalry. I mean now, we can, you know, share artists and talents and you know, everyone is given the opportunity to work. And like I’ve said before, it’s really more of job opportunities for the industry that we have grown a lot in. I think, bukod din po sa aming mga artista at mga tao na parte ng industrya, s’yempre ang magbe-benefit sa napakagandang partnership na ito ay ang ating mga manonood,” she said.
