Heart, na-pressure maging misis at magka-baby!   

Nakakaaliw ang pangangantyaw kay Sen. Chiz Escudero ng mga kapwa-Senador sa katatapos lamang na Senate Session last Wednesday, Feb. 1.

Inulan ng tukso si Sen. Chiz habang wine-welcome siya ng colleagues since as we all know ay kagagaling lamang niya sa bakasyon-grande sa Japan with wife, Heart Evangelista.

Si Sen. Grace Poe ang nagpasimula ng ‘pangangantiyaw’ but in a good way naman. “Mr. President, together with each and every member of this body, I would like to warmly welcome our colleague and my seatmate, Senator Chiz,” simula ng Senadora.

Patuloy niya, ngayon lang daw niya nakita ulit si Chiz sa ganito kagandang aura. “First time in a long time we’ve seen that smile on his face, with a wonderful aura. And I think if there’s anything we learn from this,  love is worth fighting for,” ang masayang wika ni Sen. Grace.

Um-agree naman si Senate President Migz Zubiri na halatang masayang-masaya rin for Sen. Chiz. “That’s the reason why we suspended the session because I wanted to go down and give a big hug to our dear friend and classmate in Congress, our idol. We believe in second chances,” nakangiting sabi ni Sen. Migz.

Seryosong wika naman ni Sen. Joel Villanueva na akala mo’y nakikipagdebate, “and Mr. President, we heart Chiz.” Um-agree naman si Sen. Migz.

Nakisali rin si Senate President Pro-Tempore Loren Legarda na nagpahayag din ng suporta sa mister ni Heart. “I just want to signify my support for the statement made by Senator Poe. And we see the different aura of our good friend from Bicol, Governor Senator Escudero,” sey ni Sen. Loren.

Nakakatuwa na kahit obvious na tinutukso nila si Sen. Chiz ay pormal na pormal ang kanilang mga linya. Sabi ulit ni Senate President Migz, “we are all happy for him. Let’s put that on record. This whole session floor is happy for our dear colleague from Sorsogon.”

Hahaha! In fairness, mukha naman talagang masayang-masaya sila for Chiz. Sayang nga at hindi na pinakita pa ang reaksyon ni Sen. Chiz sa mga sinabi o pangangantiyaw ng kanyang kapwa-mambabatas.

Speaking of Heart, sa kanyang latest interview sa Mega Magazine ay ini-reveal niyang talagang naging pressure rin sa kanya ang pagkakaroon ng baby.

“I think it was a lot about being pressured to have a baby,” pahayag niya. “It was not necessarily from certain people. It was really like a shift in my life: the pressures of being a wife, the pressures of being a certain mold, and I just wanted to get rid of that. And I did, by doing what I felt like doing. And if people don’t get it, then they don’t get it.”

Bagama’t nasa showbiz siya at ito ang bread and butter niya, aniya, “I guess I never really learned the art of dealing with being in showbiz completely. People will always have something to say. But, now, I totally don’t care.”

Sa panahong may pinagdadaanan siya, nag­papasalamat si Heart na naririyan ang asawang si Chiz at ang kanyang mga kaibigan. “I had to pass through fire and not a lot of people could pass through that fire with me. That’s why I’m very appreciative of my husband, my friends, because they were really there for me when we needed to go through a certain time in my life. It was painful, but it was good.”

Ibinahagi rin niya kung gaano siya ka-appreciative kay Chiz na nakikita raw ang mga nararamdaman niya. “I don’t want to be a hostage of anything and anyone. And I’m just very appreciative of my husband for seeing that. I think, in a way, maybe he was afraid for me, that I would be hurt by the world, or the letdowns, or people doing things to me, because he knew that I had such a gentle heart, and he thought I wouldn’t survive a heartbreak. But I can survive anything,” she said.

Matatandaang napabalita last year na naghiwalay na sina Heart and Chiz at hindi sila nagsalita tungkol dito although may mga kaibigan silang kinumpirma ang hiwalayan.

Pero seeing them na magkasama pa rin ngayon at sweet na sweet, obvious na nagkaayos na sila.
