Jessy at Luis, ‘di itutuloy ang church wedding dahil sa baby

Dalawang magkasunod na magandang balita ang bumulaga sa showbiz last Thursday and Friday. Ito ay ang pagbubuntis nina Iza Calzado at Jessy Mendiola sa kani-kanilang first baby.

Naunang nag-anunsyo sina Jessy & Luis sa YouTube channel ng aktres last Thursday at pagkatapos ay sa kanilang Instagram page kahapon.

Sa video na may titulong A New Chapter, makikita ang pictorial shoot na isinagawa ng mag-asawa for this big announcement. Makikita rin ang result ng pregnancy test na isinagawa ni Jessy pati na ang sonogram ng baby. Ipinakita rin ng aktres ang kanyang baby bump na kini-kiss pa ni Luis.

Obviously ay masayang-masaya ang mag-asawa na matatandaang ikinasal last year.

Sa IG post ni Jessy kahapon, sinabi niyang nagpaplano raw sana sila ng church wedding this year pero may iba palang plano si Lord sa kanila.

“We had planned for our church wedding this year but suddenly God gave us this wonderful bles­sing, proving time and again that God is the master planner.

“No matter what your plans are, HE has a divine plan for you, one that is definitely BETTER than what you have imagined. His plan is always the best.

“We decided to share this wonderful news with you through a video shot in one of God’s houses - a beautiful chapel in Benguet,” pahayag ni Jessy.

Sa ngayon ay hindi na raw muna nila itutuloy ang church wedding at hihintayin muna nila ang pagdating ng kanilang first baby.

“For now, our planned church wedding will have to take a backseat until our bundle of joy arrives. This is, by far, the best surprise we have received in our lives. Indeed, with God all things are possible,” saad pa ng aktres.

Hindi naman inaasahan ni Iza Calzado ang pagdating ng first baby nila ng asawang si Ben Wintle this year. Sa isinagawa niyang announcement kahapon, sinabi ng aktres na ang dami rin daw niyang plano for her 40th birthday and 20th anniversary in showbiz ngayong taon. Bukod dito ay may mga naka-line up pa siyang projects na gagawin.

“They say life begins at 40.

“So I had all these big plans for my for 40th year on Earth as it also coincides with my 20th year in the industry. I already completed a few of the exciting projects lined up for me and there were a few dream projects in the pipeline. I was ready to usher in this new chapter in my life.

“Then you came along. Unexpectedly. You may not have been in my immediate plans but I instinctively knew that this was THE plan,” pahayag ni Iza.

“God’s plans are always far greater than mine and I humbly accept this new chapter of my life with a heart filled with gratitude, casting all my fears and worries aside and simply trusting in the divine timing and wisdom of life. Something deep inside me knows that you will propel me to greater heights to soar higher than ever before in ways I cannot even begin to imagine. You will give me THE WHY, THE PURPOSE, THE DIRECTION in life, and I embrace you in my life as we build, along with Ben — your dad, a FAMILY!,” saad pa niya.

Para kay Iza, best birthday gift ever na ibinigay ni Lord ang kanyang first baby kaya abot-abot ang pasasalamat niya.
