Anxiety issues ni Jake naungkat sa Fix Me!

Sa release ng bagong music video ni Jake Zyrus na Fix Me, muling naungkat ang ilang anxiety issues ng kontrobersyal na singer.

Personal daw na awitin para kay Jake ang Fix Me dahil ang mensahe nito ay kung paano mo maayos ang sarili mong mga problema sa buhay.

“’Fix Me is very personal to me, there are times that I would be asking my partner, ‘do I deserve love?’ I still feel that especially when I’m triggered and every time I sing or hear it, nakaka-relate talaga ako.

“I started as a pop R&B singer, so I thought it’d be nice to release something like that, something that people are familiar with,” sey ni Jake.

Samantala ang award-winning documentary ni Jake na produced ng NHK Japan na Jake and ­Charice, ay nagwagi ng gold award in the Hamburg 2021 World Media Festivals for the Inclusion and Diversity category. The docu follows the coming out journey of Jake as a transman.

Anak ni Martin at Pops dinagsa ng dasal

Naka-confine sa ospital ang anak nila Martin Nievera at Pops Fernandez na si Ram Nievera.

Hindi naman binanggit ni Pops kung ano ang dahilan kung bakit na-confine si Ram.

Sa post ni Pops via Instagram, heto ang nakalagay: “Something unexpected happened to Ram last week. We had a scare. He was brought to the hospital and tests were done. We worried, we cried and we prayed ... a lot!”

Sa mga sumunod na post ni Pops, bumubuti na raw ang lagay ni Ram.

“I am posting cause Ram is recovering very well. We thank our family and friends who have prayed for Ram, and are continuously praying for him. We are so grateful and relieved.

“It is true, health is wealth. And family, no matter what our situation is, is important , [especially] during times like these. Prayers are powerful. God is good.”

Nakatanggap si Ram ng maraming dasal mula sa mga kaibigan ng kanyang parents, tulad ni Zsa Zsa Padilla na nagsabing: “Happy to know he is ­recovering now. Will keep him in our prayers.

Taylor Swift sunud-sunod ang award sa folklore

Masayang-masaya si Taylor Swift sa pagtanggap niya ng Pop Album of the Year for Folklore sa 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Virtual ang naging appearance ni Taylor sa naturang event at sa kanyang acceptance speech, sinabi niya na isang “emotional life raft” ang paggawa niya ng Folklore album during the pandemic.

“Thank you so much for this award and for honoring an album that I am so proud of. I have to say thank you to everyone at iHeart and everyone at radio who supported Folklore. Folklore was an album that I made in the very beginning of the pandemic. I started writing it, and I feel like it became a sort of emotional life raft for me to pour my feelings into.”

“Thank you to the fans for making this album what it was. We all needed to escape into stories, whether movies or TV or film or music, and the fact that you chose this album, I am so honored by that. You really wrapped your arms around it. Someday we’ll get to wrap our arms around each other when we see each other again.”
