Cong. Alfred, mas ginanahang mag-produce
Isa si Congressman Alfred Vargas sa pinarangalan ng Film Development Council of the Philippines sa katatapos nitong virtual Film Ambassadors Night.
Para sa pelikulang Kaputol ang parangal na nanalo ng Best Performance para sa buong cast sa 2020 Innuendo International Film Festival sa Milan, Italy.
Ayon sa bahagi ng pahayag ni Cong. Alfred nang matanggap ang parangal, “Kaputol is a passion project. Our production outfit, AV Cinema produced it knowing that the chances of an ROI are almost lil.”
Lumaban din ito sa Bengalu International Film Festival sa India at Asian Film Festival sa Rome.
Bumilib siya sa co-star niya sa movie na si Cherie Gil.
“It was a pleasure working with Cherie Gil. Both of us played very challenging roles and in our scenes, the creative energy was palpable,” saad pa ng kongresista.

Kahit hindi siguradong kikita ang prinodyus na movie, itinutuloy ni Alfred ang pagpoprodyus kung alam niyang deserving ang isang kuwento na mapanood sa screen.
