Martin nailang nang makasama ang third party nila ni Pops

Not the usual Christmas celebration

Hindi napigilang maging emosyonal ni Concert Queen Pops Fernandez sa presscon kahapon ng Twogether Again na Valentine concert nila ni Martin Nievera.

Napag-usapan kasi ang naging pagmu-move on niya sa break-up nila ni Martin noon bilang mag-asawa.

In fairness naman sa dating mag-asawa, maganda ang kanilang relasyon ngayon at ibang level nga ang kanilang friendship since minsan ay naging mag-asawa sila

Natanong si Pops kung paano niya kinaya ang moving on process pati na ang makaharap ang dati ring partner ni Martin na si Katrina Ojeda. Hindi naman lingid sa showbiz na si Katrina ang itinuturong third party sa hiwalayan nina Pops at Martin.

“I don’t think I’m gonna be a normal human being if ganoon kadali. But I think like I said, time heals a lot of wounds,” pahayag ni Pops.

At dito na nga naging emosyonal si Pops nang mabanggit ang anak ni Martin kay Katrina na si Santino.

“When you see your life and you know that…for me kasi, I’m okay, I’m doing quite well. I’m blessed, of course, with my two boys. Parang nawala na talaga yung galit ko… kung ano man ‘yun.

“The other factor, when I saw Santino, such a sweet kid. I think that totally changed my whole…yung pananaw ko talaga. So, I said everything has to be okay, and it is,” sey ni Concert Queen.

Pagbabahagi ni Pops, magkakasama-sama silang lahat last Christmas na talagang pinaghandaan ni Katrina.

“I’m happy to say, for the very first time, our Christmas, not quite normal yet, but somehow we made it work. I wanted the boys to be together, and they did, and I think they had a great time,” sey pa ng ex-wife ni Martin.

Ayon naman kay Martin, may “ilang factor” naman daw sa kanya na makasama ang dalawang babae na na-ging bahagi na ng kanyang buhay.

“It wasn’t comfortable for me having both Pops and Katrina in the same table. It wasn’t very forced, because the kids get along well and Katrina made a big feast for us.

“It’s been a long time. I mean, you know me and Katrina are not together anymore either, so it’s the whole modern family concept. It was magic. It was Christmas. That’s what Christmas is all about.

“Of course, all the credit goes to Pops because if she doesn’t allow it, it’s a whole different ballgame. It’s the woman really, it’s the one who was left with all of this burden and so on, that have to cope with these things or make a choice to cope with it or not.

“She made the choice to cope with it. So, for all the women out there, you talk about powerful women? She should be on the poster, that’s Pops,” sey pa ni Martin.

Samantala, ang Twogether Again ay ang reunion nina Pops & Martin sa isang Valentine concert. It has been 10 long years since the ex-couple reunited and headlined a major concert in Manila on Valentine’s Day of 2010.

Kaya naman, for sure ay napakaraming fans ang nag-aabang ng kanilang Valentine concert at itinodo na talaga nila dahil 7 nights itong tatakbo (Feb. 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21) at The Theatre at Solaire.
