Shaina dedma kahit malamig ang Pasko
Hindi mahalaga kay Shaina Magdayao if this Christmas ay loveless siya. Ang mahalaga raw, she’s busy with a new assignment, right after pa man din her appearance sa seryeng Nang Ngumiti Ang Langit which co-starred her with promising child actress Sophia Reola.
She’s now in the thrilling and chilling Dreamscape Entertainment offering, The Haunted, co-starring her with Jake Cuenca at Denise Laurel.
Directing The Haunted is Manny Palo, na medyo natagalan bago muling gumawa ng project, na nakapanghihinayang since isa siya sa magagaling na direktor ng Kapamilya mapa-TV man o pelikula.
Of Shaina, few obviously remember that like Sophia, she, too, started as a child actress. She remembers she was almost Sophia’s age, 10 years old daw yata, Shaina can’t exactly remember when GMA entrusted her with the top role in K2BU, which won her a best child actress trophy in 2002 from the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Awards.
Now, at 30’s, she is considered one of the prettiest and most talented actresses ng Kapamilya.
Keep up the good work, Shaina.
Dante hindi na mabilang ang mga award
Nakakatuwa ang kuwentong ito ni Dante Rivero, Salve A. tungkol sa awards.
Minsan daw, dahil wala siyang magawa, pinunasan niya ang acting trophies na kanyang natanggap while were displayed sa isang cabinet sa living room ng kanilang bahay. Well, isa raw sa mga apo niya ang lumapit sa kanya.
Hangang-hanga raw ito sa mga tropeong nililinis niya. “Ang dami ho niyan,” anang bata. Then, nakangiti, nagtanong daw ito, kung bakit kahit marami na siyang trophies, panay pa rin ang pamimili niya.
Nabigla man sa tanong ng apo, maingat pa ring ipinaliwanag niya na ‘di niya binili ang nabanggit na mga tropeo, kung hindi mga award ‘yon sa kanya, kapag kapuri-puri ang performances niya sa projects na kanyang ginawa.
Nanlalaki ang mata, bigla raw siyang niyakap ng apo. Sabay sabing he is proud of him.
Dante has been in showbiz for at least, 40 years.
He used to do lead roles opposite sa mga kilalang actresses, like Elizabeth Oropesa, Gloria Diaz, Vivian Velez at iba pa.
Now 73 years old, satisfied na siyang ginanap ng either Lolo, Tatay o Tiyo ng mga kabataang artista.
“Ang mahalaga, active ka pa rin sa business na iyong minahal,” ani Dante.
Sen. Win at Bianca panay na ang rampa
Now, it’s in the open na sina Senator Sherwin Gatchalian at Bianca Manalo are together, and no less than Bianca admitted this when they both attended the 60th wedding anniversary nina former President and Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada and former Senator Loi Ejercito.
They look good together. Although, mga two inches taller lang daw si Senator Sherwin kesa kay Bianca, who, we all know, is a former beauty queen.
But, definitely, much taller si Bianca kesa kay John Prats na ngayon ay kasama ni Bianca sa top action series na FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano ni Coco Martin.
Naging sila rin pala for a time.
John, of course, who is not just an actor anymore but a concert director, is now married to former GMA talent, Isabel Oli, with whom he has two children.

Bela, amazed sa pagiging humble ni Aga
Labis palang nagmamalaki si Bela Padilla na sa kanya rin finally napunta ang role bilang lawyer-daughter ni Aga Muhlach sa Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 entry, Miracle in Cell No. 7.
Earlier report had it that Nadine Lustre begged off from accepting the role when it was first offered to her, dahil busy siya with other projects.
Kaya nga, Xia Vigor, who played the young Bela, was striken out of the cast, too, as she was too mestiza, compared kay Nadine who is a kayumanggi, whom Viva Films wanted sana to replace Bela.
Bela said, she would have regretted much kung hindi niya nagawa ang Miracle… Working with Aga made her realized daw how brilliant ng actor he truly is, at higit sa lahat, mabait pala siya.
“Amazed ako na hindi siya mayabang, even if he has every reason to,” tukoy pa ni Bela.
Of his co-stars and the movie, Aga remarked with a smile: “Please watch it.
“Hindi namin kayo bibiguin.”
Miracle… is directed by Nuel Naval, from a script by Mel del Rosario.
No need to tell you that it is based on a popular Korean novel.
