Well, it looks like nga itong darating na Pasko ang magiging last celebration ni Karla bilang single. Heard na reding-redi na ang kanyang boyfriend na si Jam Ignacio to legalize their relationship.

No wonder, Karla looks every inch a woman in love everytime she appears in her early morning show, Magandang Buhay, with co-hosts Melai Cantiveros at Jolina Magdangal.

Sa ngayon, tahimik lang ang panganay ni Karla na si Daniel Jones Padilla tungkol sa isyung ito.

Pops masaya sa single life

Pops Fernandez turns exactly 52 years old on Thursday, December 12.

In fairness, she doesn’t look her age.

“Papaano nga, I’m happy,” aniya. “Happily in love?” she was asked.

“Yes, to two of the most important men in my life, Robin and Ram,” sagot niya.

The two boys are Pops sons with former husband Martin Nievera.

Another, birthday celebrator is showbiz icon Gloria Romero, who will turn 85 on December 16 (Monday).

Gloria reportedly needed to rest, since “nahirapan” siya sa kanyang migraine.

But she is currently up and about na. Hopefully, early next year, muli na siyang mapapanood sa Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.

Currently “pinch-hitting” for Gloria is Nova Villa.

Aga at Carmina ipaparada ang mga kambal

Ask nga pala ng marami kung may balak ding isama ni Carmina Villarroel sa float ng Sunod, her entry in this year’s Metro Manila Film Festival ang kambal nila ni Zoren Legaspi na sina Mavy at Cassy sa Annual Parade of Stars.

Sa presscon kasi ng Viva Films entry, Miracle in Cell #7, which Aga Muhlach topbills, together with Bela Padilla and child actress Xia Vigor, tiniyak ni Aga na isasama niya sa float ang kanilang kambal ni Charlene Gonzales, sina Atasha and Andres, who both turned 18 last November, sa nabanggit na parada, na magaganap sa December 22, sa City of Taguig.

It was in 1993 when Aga had his second and last entry sa MMFF, the movie, May Minamahal, which co-starred him with Aiko Melendez and direted by Joey Javier Reyes.

His first MMFF movie, well, in 1992, was Bakit Labis Kitang Mahal, co-starring him with Lea Salonga at Ariel Rivera.

The film was written and directed by direk Joey.

Ipinanganak sina Atasha at Andres in the year 2000.

Juday ayaw mag-expect mag-Best Actress sa MMFF

Kasalukuyang nasa Japan pa ang mag-asawang Judy Ann Santos at Ryan Agoncillo.

But they will be both in town, as Judy Ann, we all know, has also have an MMFF entry, Mindanao, which already won her an international award sa Cairo Film Festival as best actress.

She will naturally join the Parade of Stars, and hopeful si Judy Ann na manonood si Ryan with their three children.

Ayaw niyang mag-expect, pero Christmas bonus din daw na malaki, kapag nakuha niya ang best actress for Mindanao.

First time niya raw na makakasama sa isang pictorial si Aga, kung mananalo rin ito ‘pag nagkataon.

The Gabi ng Parangal will be on December 27 at the New Frontier Theater.

Now on its 45th, the MMFF will run from December 25, 2019 to January 7, 2020.
