Matagal nang nadiskubre? Bea durog na naman ang puso

It’s another major heartbreak for Bea Alonzo if true na kaput na ang nearly three year-relationship nila ni Gerald Anderson.

Well, before we cite the reason kung bakit naghiwalay diumano sila ni Gerald, let’s remember that at one time, Bea had for the love of her life si Zanjoe Marudo.

It isn’t clear though, why they broke up. Although to date, wala pang ka-steady na karelasyon si Zanjoe.

Well, in the case of Gerald, did we hear na Bea discovered na somehow nagka-inlaban nga ito at si Julia Barretto, while filming their first film together, Between Maybes, in Tokyo, Japan?

Julia has long denied this news, although somehow, it reportedly na naging dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila ni Joshua Garcia.

The two chose though to remain friends, as they are working on a new movie together, Block Z, with Mikhail Red directing.

At the impromptu party after the State of the Nation Address (SONA), President Rodrigo Duterte sung one of his favorite songs, Ikaw, with no less than the Philharmonic Orchestra accompanying him.

He once sung the same song with Jona in another event.

Ewan kung alam ni President Digong, Salve A., na ang kantang Ikaw was composed by the late noted composer George Canseco and he chose no less than Sharon Cuneta to record the song for them sa one of the major recording companies, Vicor Records.

In writing the song, the late George (he died in 2004 at aged 70) had his wife for his inspiration.

Ang ganda nga raw kasi ng kuwento ng pag-iibigan ng dalawa. Both were studying and they often found themselves riding the same bus. Then they fell in love.

After his college graduation, nagsulat si George for a magazine. Until he discovered he could compose songs.

Isa pa sa mga composition ni George na paboritong awitin hanggang ngayon ng kahit millennials ay ang Kapantay Ay Langit, na ang nagpasikat naman ay ang dating singer na si Amapola.

These two songs popularized by George are included in one of his album, Ngayon at Kailanman.

Hindi tulad ng dati, noong wala pa siyang asawa, sunud-sunod ang kanyang directorial assignments, mapa-TV at pelikula, but this time, kapag umuuwi na lang siya ng Pilipinas at saka na lang makakapagdirek si Mae Cruz-Alviar.

Based abroad na kasi si Direk Mae mula nang siya’y mag-asawa sa isang dating kaklase dahil doon ito nagtatrabaho.

Thus, her last directorial job was in 2017, titled Can’t Help Falling In Love, with Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla as the lead stars.

No need to tell that Can’t Help… was a top grosser.

Well now that Direk Mae is in town, Star Cinema has assigned her a movie, with no definite title yet, but with Richard Gutierrez, Angelica Panganiban at Bea Alonzo sa lead stars.

First time daw na ididirek ni Mae ang tatlong magagaling na artista.

Now it can be told why Senator Manny Pacquiao, ang bagong boxing champ muli sa kanyang laban sa 10 years younger than he is, si Keith Thurman, was unable to attend the SONA schedule Monday.
