Vice gagawa ng remake ng pelikula ni Mang Dolphy

Tanong lang Salve A., did we hear it right that for his Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2019 entry, Vice Ganda will do a remake of the King of Comedy Dolphy’s starrer, Ang Tatay Kong Nanay?

Filmed in 1978, Dolphy’s Ang Tatay Kong…had the then phenomenal child actor, Niño Muhlach, playing his anak. For his portrayal sa nabanggit na movie, Niño won in 1979 the FAMAS child actor trophy.

Based on a story and script written by the late award winning writer, Orlando Nadres, habang ang late most-sought after director naman na si Lino Brocka ang nagdirek ng nasabing movie.

Also in the cast were Phillip Salvador and Marissa Delgado.

Phillip ayaw nang mag-artista

Of Phillip, he played the role of President Rodrigo Duterte sa Maa­laala Mo Kaya (MMK) episode kung saan si Charo Santos ang nagho-host, featuring the story of Senatorial candidate in the May 2019 election, Bong Go.

Ang aktor na si Joseph Marco ang gumanap bilang Bong Go, formerly a special assistant to President Digong.

Matagal nang magkaibigan sina President Digong at Bong Go in real life. They are both from Davao City.

Ngayon of course, it’s common knowledge that Phillip is close to Bong Go, who in survey’s is No. 6 among the probable winners as senator in the May 2019 election.

They are now in town. Arjo is taping anew for the series, The General’s Daughter topbilled by Angel Locsin, where he plays na isang binatang special child ni Maricel Soriano.

Also in the cast of The General’s are Albert Martinez, Tirso Cruz III, Ryza Cenon, Eula Valdez, Janice de Belen, plus JC de Vera at Paulo Avelino.

Piolo may hinahandang pelikula para kay Kathryn

Bagama’t as of this writing, official nang kumita ang The Hows of Us movie nina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla ng tumataginting na halos P900-M, wala pa ring balita na may gagawin silang movie na magkasama.

Samantala, Piolo Pascual is cooking up a project, most likely, a movie for Kathryn lang. Yes, for his Spring Films, which he co-owns with Direk Joyce Bernal at Cornerstone Management head Erickson Raymundo.

Wala pang details kung sinu-sino ang makakasama ni Kathryn sa pelikula. Ni wala pa ring balita if okay na si Kathryn sa offer ni Piolo.
