YSTAR - Baby E (Pang-masa) - January 20, 2019 - 12:00am

Mag-ina ang role nilang dalawa sa nasabing serye, and he is supposed to be a special child.

“Umapaw ako sa saya at nakakahiya man sabihin, when after the preview, my co-stars, maliban, of course, kay Angel at Tita Maricel, congratulated me for my performance sa harap ng aking pamilya,” pahayag ni Arjo.

The General’s Daughter is directed by Manny Palo and Mervyn Brodial, Also in the casts are Albert Martinez, Tirso Cruz III, Janice de Belen, Eula Valdez, Paulo Avelino and JC de Vera, plus Ryza Cenon and the love team nina Loisa Andalio at Ronnie Alonte.

Of Maricel, she will be busier than usual this year.

Aside from The General’s Daughter, she is set to do a movie too, for the first time with Susan Roces.

The still untitled film, which Mother Lily Monteverde’s Regal Entertainment will produced will have Eric Quizon at the helm.

He has never worked with Susan in any project, mapa-pelikula and TV. In the case of Maricel, she was like a daughter sa late Dad ni Eric, the King of Comedy, Dolphy.

Sa nasabing pelikula, nakadamit pambabae at naka-make up daw talaga si Lou na ‘di niya akalaing gagawin niya in real life.

Samantala, si Martin naman na siyang bida ng Born Beautiful, tamang-tama lang ang kanyang naging transformation, from macho to the transgender that he is in the movie.

“Maa-amuse ka at maaaliw, since from the beginning to end, maaliwalas ang dating ng pelikula.

“I would not mind getting entrusted with the same role again,” susog pa ni Martin. “I had fun doing it.”

Apart from Martin and Lou, Born Beautiful also stars Kiko Matos at Akihiro Blanco, who play lovers ni Barbs played by Martin.

Both Kiko and Akihiro pay lip service to Martin, who took to the gesture as normal, as it was a scene sa movie.
