Piolo nilinaw ang pagkaudlot ng pelikula nila ni Robin

Nilinaw ni Piolo Pascual na hindi dahil sa pagre-resign ng direktor ng Marawi movie na si Sheron Dayoc ang dahilan, kung hindi ang hindi raw sila talaga puwedeng mag-shoot sa ground zero, ang tawag sa lugar na pinangyarihan ng main battle sa Marawi Siege.

“We were actually delayed not because our director pulled out from the project, but we were told not to shoot at the ground zero because there are still IED’s – improvised explosive devices – that were undiscovered at the ground zero. So, it’s not safe for us to shoot there,” paliwanag ni Piolo sa mediacon para sa kanyang SunPIOLOgy na nagdiriwang ng ika-10 anibersaryo.

Sa buong buwan daw ng Agosto ay hindi sila nakapag-shoot sa ground zero at bukod pa rito ay inaayos pa nila ang script.

Tungkol sa pagre-resign ng direktor, aniya ay nagkaroon talaga ng creative differences with him and the production.

“But we’re still moving forward, we’re pushing through with the project and as we speak, actually some of the guys are already scheduled to leave for preparation of the shoot in Marawi,” pagi-inform pa ni Papa P.

As one of the producers, aminado naman si Piolo na isa rin siya sa nagdesisyon tungkol dito.

“Siyempre po, as a producer, you have to. That’s part of the deal and you’re the one producing and shelling out money for the project. Of course, you have to decide and you have to stick to your decisions and your intentions. So ‘yun naman po ‘yun, kung mayroong hindi pagkakasunduan, pag-usapan,” aniya.

Sa ngayon, bukod sa Marawi ay may tatlo pang pelikulang nakatakdang gawin si Piolo.

“As an actor, I have 3 movies that have to be shot in November. In October, I’m doing another Lav Diaz (film) and I’m doing an undisclosed project because he (the producer) wants to keep it confidential because we’re celebrating the 100 years of Philippine cinema next year.”

Natanong nga rin si Piolo kung may pag-asa pa bang matuloy ang reunion movie nila ni Judy Ann Santos, aniya ay “that’s not up to me. I already told Juday, whenever she’s ready, so that’s just there. Sana po, sana, sana naman, bago kami tumanda.”

Kung sa materyales ay marami raw naka-ready para sa nasabing reunion movie nila ni Juday.

“Maraming materials, si tita Charo (Santos-Concio) nga, may material na nai-pitch, nun’g sa Sun Life presscon kami, nun’g launch nila, may naisip siya agad. So, a lot of nice concepts, they’re just waiting in line,” ani Piolo.

Samantala, masayang-masaya ang aktor na umabot na sa ika-10 taon ang kanyang SunPIOLOgy, isang charity sporting event from Sun Life Philippines kung saan ay siya rin ang ambassador.

“Kasi, it’s not something you asked for – to be partners with a brand na talagang who believes in the same cause, it’s definitely a blessing for me.”

He added, “since they believe in my advocacy, mas nagkakaroon ako ng lakas ng loob to help more people and use my platform, to be able to use my influence and just share whatever you have.”
